Needles for mesotherapy and microinjections 27g, 30g, 32g, 33g Mesoram, RI.MOS (Italy)

A healthy and beautiful appearance is everyday hard work. With the advent of mesotherapy, maintaining youth and beauty has become much easier. There are several techniques for carrying it out, one of which is manual, which involves inserting a syringe with a medicinal composition directly onto the problem area. Based on this, there was a need to purchase special needles for such therapy.

There are a large number of manufacturers and brands of cosmetic needles, but first, let's look at their main types based on classification.

Classification of needles

So, what kind of needles can be used for mesotherapy? After all, not everyone can be suitable for a certain manipulation. Needles for such a cosmetic procedure are distinguished by diameter. The diameter is indicated on the packaging. It is designated by the English letter “G”. There are three main sizes most often used in cosmetology. This:

  • 0.3 mm, marked on the package as 30G. Such needles can be used for mesotherapy of the head and face.
  • 0.23 mm – marking 32G. In addition to the face and body, they can be used for fractional mesotherapy.
  • 0.4 mm – marking 27G. Also suitable for scalp, hair and body.

It is worth noting that the thinnest needle used during the mesoprocedure is a tool with a diameter of 0.2 mm from the Mesoram company (shown in the photo below). Its length can be 4mm, 6mm and 12–13mm.

There is also a Sit needle in cosmetology. Its length is 2 mm and its diameter is 0.26 mm. This tool makes the procedure less painful. But the presence of a persistent pad does not allow it to get into small wrinkles or scars.

Technique of injection mesotherapy of the scalp

Injections with mesococktails are carried out much more often, and the technique of performing the procedure using this method implies:

  • use of syringes and needles;
  • administration of drugs by puncture of the scalp;
  • performing several injections at once in one session.

The procedure will be painful, so the specialist will suggest the patient to use an anesthetic (painkiller) drug - this can be a gel or cream with lidocaine in the composition. It is applied directly to the scalp before starting a series of injections.

Algorithm for performing mesotherapy by injection:

  1. Treating the skin with degreasing agents.
  2. Apply a thin layer of anesthetic and wait 5-10 minutes for complete absorption.
  3. Perform a series of injections at a distance of 0.5 - 1 mm and a maximum depth of 4 mm.
  4. Wipe each puncture with a disinfecting wipe.

If the patient’s skin is overly sensitive, then after the end of the session a cold compress or a napkin soaked in soothing agents is applied to the treated part of the head. After 10 minutes the procedure is considered complete.

The injection method of administering meso-cocktails is contraindicated for:

  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • diabetes mellitus;
  • any problems in the functioning of the endocrine system;
  • severe kidney and liver diseases;
  • long-term or constant use of anticoagulants;
  • menses;
  • neurological disorders (epilepsy).

Syringe selection

Most cosmetologists prefer to work with three-component syringes with a rubber O-ring on the piston. This allows the injection to be carried out evenly and smoothly. Selecting a syringe from 1 to 2.5 mm allows you to work with viscous substances. In mesotherapy, they mainly work with 5-10 mm syringes.

What is the procedure?

Mesotherapy is subcutaneous injections, the composition of which varies not only depending on the cost of the procedure, but also on the area of application.
A high concentration of nucleotides, amino acids, and vitamins directly under the skin allows you to achieve amazing results (read about what mesotherapy is used for here). There are three types of mesotherapy:

  1. Classic (injection). The most common and effective type. The drug is injected under the skin to a depth of 2-5 mm using a very thin needle. During the consultation, the doctor himself determines the volume and quantity of the substance administered.
  2. Non-injection. Active substances are first applied to the skin. Using the device, an electromagnetic field is created. It is due to this that the medicine is able to penetrate to a depth of two millimeters.
  3. Oxygen. A powerful stream of oxygen helps the drug easily penetrate the skin.

Mesococktails most often include:

  • hyaluronic acid;
  • elastin;
  • collagen;
  • extracts of useful plants;
  • vitamins;
  • homeopaths;
  • glycogel acid;
  • thioctic acid;
  • L-carnitine.

Important! Choose a trusted cosmetologist, check that he has training certificates and certificates for devices.

Popular manufacturers

The most popular producing countries are:

  1. Bog Mark (Poland) (shown in the photo below).
  2. Mesoram (Italy) – has a wide range of products. It produces 0.2 mm needles from Japanese durable steel (shown in the photo below).
  3. Kumura (Japan) – are distinguished by a unique sharpening that makes the procedure less traumatic.
  4. Microlance (Italy) – from this manufacturer you can buy needles from 27 to 32 G. Suitable for getting rid of wrinkles, crow’s feet, and for highlighting the contour of the lips (shown in the photo below).

Popular manufacturers of mesotherapy needles

You can purchase these consumables in specialized stores, clinics, pharmacies, and also on the Internet. The most popular manufacturers are Italian and Belgian companies. They are presented:

  • a Belgian company that produces Terumo Neolus needles with a triangular sharpening and a tip similar to a medical lancet. Thanks to this design, the needle easily enters the skin, causing slight pain. In addition, they are distinguished by the lowest level of force during puncture, which facilitates the work of the cosmetologist and causes low trauma to the patient’s skin tissue. Due to the smooth, silicone coating of the walls, these needles quickly penetrate the epidermis and do not damage blood cells, preventing the formation of a blood clot at the injection sites. The walls of such needles are highly durable, and their thickness remains ultra-thin. The inner diameter of the needles is large, so the throughput is much higher than that of other manufacturers. The risk of hematomas and other consequences after using these consumables is significantly lower;
  • an Italian company that produces Mesoram products, characterized by the ability to use 1 needle to perform 200 injections during one procedure. This became possible due to the use of special laser sharpening, due to which the needles retain their sharpness for a long time and significantly reduce pain during injections. This manufacturer produces both standard and ultra-thin needles used in the therapeutic treatment of varicose veins.

Needle-free therapy

In addition to the standard procedure using injections, there is, for example, a procedure such as facial mesotherapy without the use of a needle. To do this, you just need to purchase a mesoscooter - this is a special massager that allows you to carry out a mesoprocedure, for example, at home.

Among the large number of devices, two of the most popular stand out: among them is a set for facial mesotherapy without using a needle of the Gezatone m9900 brand (shown in the photo below) and the m9910 device.

You can buy this product both in Ukraine and in Russia, in a pharmacy or on the Internet.

How to choose?

The most asked question among young cosmetologists is: which syringe to inject this or that drug during various mesotherapy sessions, for example, for the face using Dermaheal (Dermaheal) or DMAE. There is no clear answer to this question. It all depends on the composition of the cocktail itself and the skills of the cosmetologist.

When carrying out mesotherapy at the initial stages, they used ordinary syringes with the so-called Labelle or insulin needle.

What to pay attention to when choosing:

  1. Smooth movement of the syringe piston is the smoothest movement of three-component syringes with a luer lock (shown in the photo below). This is due to the rubber seal, which eliminates the possibility of jerky movements.
  2. Graduation and division scale of the syringe - the accuracy when measuring drugs depends on this parameter. This difference is noticeable if insulin syringes are used.
  3. Syringe volume - a volume of 1 ml is mainly used. But depending on the consistency of the drug, 0.5 ml, 3 ml, 2 ml and 5 ml can be used.
  4. Fastening: the most durable fastening is Luer Lock (Luer Lock) type of fastening “lock” (shown in the photo below). With this method of attachment, the needle is twisted into the syringe.
  5. A syringe with a fixed needle - these are the most popular in cosmetology. They have a small volume. As a rule, these are tuberculin or insulin. Well suited for mesotherapy of hair and head.

Also for mesotherapy, there is a syringe gun with semi-automatic or automatic supply of the drug. This mechanization allows you to increase the speed of work and also reduce pain.

Watch a video on how to inject yourself using a pistol as an example:

The most positive thing when working with a gun is that the device itself calculates the required dose and number of punctures.

Post-care

If the procedure is carried out correctly, there is no need for a recovery period - already on the second day the condition of the scalp returns to normal. Cosmetologists do not recommend visiting a bathhouse, sauna, washing your hair, or using styling or care products for 3 days after injections.

If swelling has formed, it goes away on its own within 1-2 days. To speed up the process of their resorption, you can use cold compresses - a napkin or gauze is moistened in cool water and applied to the skin for 10 minutes every 2-3 hours. This procedure is not carried out with ice water, because it leads to a sharp narrowing of blood vessels and worsening, slowing down blood flow - mesotherapy simply will not be effective.

3 days after the procedure, you can wash your hair, but using a gentle method:

  • avoid too hot water;
  • use shampoos with a mild formula;
  • Avoid using soap and vinegar as a rinse aid;
  • apply masks and balms to soften hair.

Since mesotherapy is aimed at treating hair, until its appearance is completely restored, you should not use foams, varnishes and other styling products, as well as curlers, curling irons, and flat irons.

If you feel pain or itching when you touch the scalp, then these problems can be solved with the help of decoctions of medicinal plants. For example, a remedy made from chamomile flowers will be effective - 1 tablespoon of plant material is poured into 300 ml of water and boiled in a water bath for 10 minutes. Then the broth is cooled, filtered and used for lotions and compresses.
