Review of Juvederm products

Juvederm products are manufactured by the American company Allergan and have long earned recognition around the world. Two product lines are officially presented in Russia: ULTRA and VYCROSS, as well as the biorevitalizant Hydrate.

Fillers labeled “Ultra” use stabilized hyaluronic acid. Thanks to this, it remains at the injection sites much longer, thereby prolonging the effect of the procedures. It also contains the painkiller lidocaine.

BAR STANDS

The second product group to enter the market after botulinum toxins was meso-cocktails - rejuvenating injections based on vitamins or dietary supplements. Such products began to appear on the Russian market back in the late 90s, but products began to be imported on a large scale only in the early 2000s.

Among the pioneers of this trend was the Russian company Martinex. ≪The founders of the company are from Yekaterinburg, at first they developed an office on the basis of one of the local clinical hospitals, then they began to bring cellular cosmeceuticals [creams and masks for facial skin care] to Russia. – VM] from France, gradually expanded their portfolio, built connections with other foreign partners and finally moved to Moscow,” says one of the Martinex employees.

The first meso-cocktails that the company brought to the Russian market were Spanish products, which are still sold by Martinex (see table “Vitamin Discharge”). “Cosmetologists began to carry out anti-aging procedures with pleasure, and the fact that we were the first to bring meso-cocktails to Russia significantly helped us gain a foothold in this market,” says VM’s interlocutor.

Martinex's example has inspired other distributors. Following the cocktails, biorevitalizants began to appear on the market - products with similar functions, but produced on the basis of hyaluronic acid. Cosmetologists were compared to bartenders - they bought not only ready-made meso-cocktails, but also their individual components, which they then mixed themselves, coming up with their own rejuvenation techniques. Both companies that were already working with toxins, such as Vallex M or Family Health, and new players began to be interested in new products.

For example, Evgeniy Shevalovsky, a former world champion in pair figure skating, started selling biorevitalizants and meso-cocktails; he brought Spanish Q‑Lab meso-cocktails to the market. “The company, created in 1994, already had experience in the beauty industry - for example, importing Beauty Image devices for bioepilation,” says a representative of Martinez Image. – In the mid-2000s, there was a great demand for meso-cocktails and biorevitalizants. These products gave good results, we decided not to lag behind and also started working in this direction.”

In those same years, the owners of the Martinex company took a step further - together with European partners they opened their own production in Chernogolovka. “Laboratory Toscani” began producing Skinasil meso-cocktails, and then – a line of biorevitalizants and bioreparants. At the same time, the production of the main ingredient of biorevitalizants and fillers – hyaluronic acid – was launched in Russia. The laboratory for its production was opened in the mid-2000s by former space force officer Mikhail Khazov, who already had experience in the beauty industry - he brought “Enchantress” cosmetics to the market. Later, Khazov began producing Kosmoteros meso-cocktail in the same laboratory.

New generation gels VYCROSS

The new generation of Wycross products use hyaluronic acid, which contains 2 times more cross-links. This allows you to use a smaller volume of filler, extend its duration (up to 15-18 months) and reduce the likelihood of swelling after the procedure. Lidocaine is also added to the composition for painless contouring.

Types of fillers

Hafiller's main specialization is the production of proofs. All of them are based on hyaluronic acid. Various variations of corrections differ from each other in the size of the molecules. All Hafiller corrections are divided into the following categories:

1. Fine Lines. Used to eliminate small facial wrinkles. Particularly popular for reducing the number of skin defects in hard-to-reach areas (around the eyes).
2. Derm Deep. Used to eliminate large wrinkles. Can also be used as an additional treatment for lip plumping procedures.
3. Derm. Can be used to reduce normal folds and wrinkles.
4. Derm Plus. It is a powerful remedy for combating deep wrinkles. Particularly in demand when modeling altered facial shapes.
5. Sub Skin. Used to replenish tissue volume.

The validity period of all these funds is quite long when compared with analogues from other companies. Experts note that the result lasts up to 15-16 months.

Contraindications

Dermal filler injections are prohibited if the following contraindications exist:

• under 18 years of age without parental consent;
• pregnancy and lactation;
• autoimmune diseases - the final decision is made by the attending physician on an individual basis, depending on the nature of the disease and the treatment provided;
• presence of allergies to components of injection gels;
• tendency to develop hypertrophied scars;
• infections;
• inflammatory processes at the sites of filler injection;
• increased body temperature;
• taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and aspirin;
• undergoing a course of laser treatment, chemical peels or dermabrasion.

Operating principle

As already mentioned, specialists in different parts of the world speak equally about the positive results of using Hafiller fillers. Injection plastic surgery with them gives fairly quick results. What makes this possible? This result is based on the abilities of hyaluronic acid, which is the basis of the product composition. Hyaluronic acid is called one of the main components of youthful skin. It began to be used in cosmetology a long time ago and no innovative drugs have yet been able to replace it.

The main property of hyaluronic acid is the ability to attract water at the molecular level. Water has a beneficial effect on the skin, moisturizing it and filling folds, empty formations and creases that have already formed.

The use of filler increases skin tone and improves its condition, which is facilitated by normalization of water balance. At the same time, the number of wrinkles gradually decreases and they become less noticeable. Also, with the introduction of filler, the process of enhanced collagen production is stimulated. The speed of achieving maximum results depends on the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the filler and its interaction with other components. Depending on the composition, some products are used to moisturize the skin and thereby prevent premature aging, and some are prescribed to replenish tissue volume, thereby correcting the shape of the face.
