PLURYAL® BOOSTER (MDPB1)

PLURYAL® BOOSTER (MDPB1) is a new generation drug for biorevitalization of the face and body based on monophasic cross-linked hyaluronic acid from the MD Skin Solutions (Luxembourg).

Available in the form of a ready-made syringe with a volume of 1 ml with a sterile, transparent, viscous gel for revitalization based on hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin.

Composition: sodium hyaluronate 18 mg/ml, glycerol 20 mg/ml, phosphate-citrate buffer pH 6.8-7.6.

What are Pluryal fillers?

Basis of the drug

As mentioned earlier, its action is based on hyaluronic acid, a substance that, as scientists have proven, can fight the signs of aging: smooth the skin, make it more elastic.
After all, due to aging, our skin ceases to be able to retain hyaluronic acid, and plastic surgery with injections makes up for its deficiency.

Thus, the effect of using fillers will be a tightened oval of the face and smoothed out wrinkles.

Among the advantages of the procedure, it is necessary to mention that even deep wrinkles are smoothed out; if desired, it is possible to create the effect of expressive cheekbones or plump lips.

“Plureal” is considered a universal drug, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions and increases the number of women for whom injections with it are an ideal solution to the problem.

It should be noted that there is a downside to the procedure - after some time, the substance will disintegrate and be eliminated from the body, and your appearance will return to its original appearance.

In addition, when turning to an inexperienced specialist, the consequences of his mistake can be lumps in the lips and other areas of the face, noticeable papules (pimples that look like small balls in the skin), and an increase in the effect of facial asymmetry.

What problems does Plureal combat most effectively?

Most plastic surgeons recommend these fillers to solve various problems.

  • Clear signs of aging on the face, neck, and décolleté. Deep wrinkles.
  • Getting rid of fine or deep wrinkles around the eyes, lips, forehead, between the eyebrows and other facial wrinkles.
  • Increasing or creating the effect of plump lips, the effect of expressive cheekbones, adjusting facial features, adjusting the shape of the face, adjusting the chin area.
  • The fight against natural defects and imperfections.
  • Improvement of the overall condition of the skin: fresh look, healthy shine, smoothness, tone evening, fight against pigmentation.

Who is contraindicated for the use of Plureal fillers?

  1. First of all, at the clinic, you should undergo a series of tests to identify an allergic reaction to drugs containing fillers and other components that come into contact with/injected into your skin during the procedure. If any allergic reaction is detected, injections are unacceptable.

  2. If you suffer from diseases of the vascular-cardiac system or ailments related to kidney function, then you should refuse the procedure. In addition, it is unacceptable to administer injections to patients suffering from poor blood clotting.
  3. Patients suffering from skin diseases during their exacerbation period are strictly required to consult a doctor. The same applies to people with any chronic diseases.
  4. People suffering from cancer, viral, infectious diseases, as well as diseases affecting the nervous system, are not recommended to administer injections.
  5. The safety of the drug on the fetus of a pregnant woman has not been proven, so the procedure should be postponed. During breastfeeding, administering the drug is prohibited.

What types of "Plureal" are there?

Fillers are used mainly by two types of women: those who want to hide the signs of skin aging and young girls who strive for an ideal oval face, plump lips, and high cheekbones. Taking into account the preferences of each of these groups, I productively created a line of fillers:

Plureal Booster

Can be used from the age of 18, although it is used mainly by girls over 25.
The concentration of the substance is reduced, the composition includes hyaluronic acid and glycerol.

Course of application: three procedures monthly. The effect will appeal to girls who dream of improving the overall condition of their skin without correcting facial features through a “soft” effect.

Fillers perfectly hide minor imperfections.

Injections are administered into both the middle and deeper layers, depending on the expected result.

Plureal Volume

The filler was created as the densest one in order to more effectively combat deep wrinkles and unevenness.

Thanks to its composition, Volum is one of the longest-lasting: the effect lasts up to one and a half years. It is also used to correct facial features: enlarging lips, highlighting cheekbones.

After injections, the skin is noticeably more elastic.

Advantages and effectiveness of using Plureal Booster

PREMIUM technology used in the production of the drug provides:

  • High degree of purification of hyaluronic acid and complete absence of impurities.
  • No animal materials = no allergy risk.
  • Maximum physiological osmotic concentration and pH of the solution.
  • Ease of use: Graduated glass syringe, convenient movable finger rest and Luer lock ensure tight needle fit.

High viscoelasticity, monophasic structure, reticulation using BDDE (glycerol stabilization), optimized concentration of hyaluronic acid and its high molecular weight mean that Pluryal® Booster has high efficiency and excellent resistance to degradation for long-lasting, clinically proven results.

The drug is injected into the superficial dermis to moisturize, revitalize and restore the skin. Ideal for correcting the skin of the face, neck, décolleté, and back of the hands.

A visible result of skin restoration can be achieved both by conducting an independent course of biorevitalization, and in combination with the use of hardware rejuvenation procedures.

Plureal Booster is a drug based on native HA and glycerol, a powerful antioxidant and hyaluronic acid stabilizer that provides long-lasting results and allows you to achieve the following effects:

  • Lasting lifting
  • Pig-constricting effect
  • Optimal hydration
  • Unrivaled skin radiance

Carrying out revitalization procedures using Pluryal® Booster replenishes moisture loss, heals and increases skin density.

How is the procedure done?

  1. The specialist you contacted cleanses your skin and marks the areas where the drug will be injected. In medicine, this procedure is considered not painful, although in most clinics you will be asked to use anesthesia.
  2. If you choose to use numbing creams, this will most likely cost you as a separate service. In most cases, the doctor skips the anesthesia step.
  3. The specialist must warn you that during the week before the procedure it is necessary to avoid taking blood thinners. For safety reasons, request that the package of Plureal be opened in front of you on the day of the procedure.
  4. There are a number of rules that the doctor must follow: show the sealed package, check the syringes (the gel is released ready for use), show you the expiration date and the medication certificate.
  5. To carry out the procedure, the doctor puts on a mask and sterile gloves. Ensure compliance with sanitary standards. On average, you will have to spend from 15 to 30 minutes in the office, but if the amount of work is larger, then the injection time may increase. The syringes have thin needles that reduce pain and healing time.
  6. In most clinics, the procedure ends with a massage, the purpose of which is to distribute the product evenly and reduce possible swelling and bruising, which, of course, may appear, but disappear in one or two days.

What recommendations should be followed after the procedure to maintain the effect?

Plureal fillers do not have any special requirements. Everything that doctors recommend doing after injections is standard for plastic surgery. First, try to refrain from using cosmetics for the first day after insertion. Secondly, you should not expose your skin to sudden temperature changes: go to baths, saunas, swimming pools.

It is recommended to avoid visiting gyms and training at home. Thirdly, increase the amount of water you drink - this will help further moisturize your skin. During the week, give up bad habits: smoking and drinking alcohol, reduce the number of cups of coffee you drink, try to eat foods that are not spicy or overly salty. If you follow these tips, your skin will not have to lose moisture, and you will be able to prolong the effect of the drug.

What side effects are possible?

The occurrence of adverse reactions is possible only due to two reasons: failure to maintain sterility/lack of experience on the part of the doctor (the clinic’s fault) or individual intolerance to the components included in the fillers.

If you experienced pain during the procedure (pain that is difficult to endure, burning or cutting pain), and bruises after the injection did not go away for a long time, most likely a medical error was made and you need to seek advice.

Instructions for use

Instructions for the use of Pluryal dermal fillers were developed by the manufacturer to ensure maximum patient safety and the ability to control manipulations during the procedure, and therefore are required to be studied.

Features of application:

  1. Pluryal gel hyaluronic implants are intended for injection into the superficial, middle or deep layer of the dermis,
  2. The injection technique determines both the aesthetic result and minimizing the likelihood of complications and undesirable consequences, therefore treatment can only be carried out by a qualified specialist with a certificate of training in injection cosmetology techniques.
  3. Before starting treatment, the patient must be informed about the indications and contraindications for the use of gels, incompatibility with other drugs, possible side effects, and the duration of the clinical effect.
  4. The filler package is opened in the presence of the patient, the integrity of the box, syringe, and expiration date are checked.
  5. For injections, strictly use only those needles that are supplied with the syringe.
  6. Do not use the cosmetic product if the packaging is open or damaged.
  7. The packaging should be stored in a dark place with normal humidity at a temperature of 2 to 25 C.

The technique for introducing such a filler is shown in the video below:

Rules

To reduce the risk of unwanted reactions and achieve the most pronounced medical and cosmetic results from Pluryal injections, it is recommended to follow a number of basic rules:

  • in the first 24 hours, cold can be applied to the injection sites to prevent swelling and bruising, but it is unacceptable to overcool the skin to avoid cold burns (it is better to use a cold heating pad wrapped in a cloth);
  • for 72 hours after the procedure, you must avoid massage, washing with hot water, showering, do not rub the treated areas, and do not apply makeup;
  • after treating the lip area, it is undesirable to smoke, eat rough, spicy, hot food for 3 days;
  • Avoid sports and heavy exercise for 2 weeks, as physical activity increases swelling;
  • swimming in a pool or ponds to prevent infection;
  • avoid hot baths, baths, saunas, as high temperatures provoke swelling and hemorrhages;
  • For 3–4 weeks, avoid solariums and sun exposure to prevent pigmented spots from appearing at the injection sites, treat exposed skin with cream with an ultraviolet protection factor of at least 35.

Administration technique

Contour modeling or biostabilization with Pluryal fillers is carried out after examination and consultation with a cosmetologist, who determines the type of correction, the desired result, establishes the presence of contraindications, selects a certain type of gel, its quantity and areas of injection, develops a scheme and technique of administration, informs about the rules of post-procedure skin care , possible “side effects” and consequences.

Procedure steps:

  1. The area of the face or body where the procedure is planned must be treated twice with antiseptic agents before the injection.
  2. The skin is numbed with a special cream such as Emla.
  3. The filler is injected using a specific pattern and to the desired depth, which is determined in accordance with the chosen technique.
  4. The convenient and rotating syringe piston ensures stable pressure during injection, and precise markings allow the cosmetologist to accurately monitor the volume of injected gel according to the calculated dose.
  5. The depth of injection, the layer of skin, the amount of gel is determined by the doctor depending on the type and severity of the skin defect, the type of correction, the desired result and strictly in accordance with the scheme and injection technique developed for specific types of dermal defects.

Linear retrograde

It is used intradermally and along the surface of the skin to smooth out wrinkles, strengthen the cheek-zygomatic area, and volumetric correction of the lips. The needle is inserted into the treatment area at an angle of 45 degrees to the required depth, after which, in the process of withdrawing the needle from the skin, a slow, even and continuous injection of the filler is performed. Step-by-step movement of the needle is provided.

Multipuncture

Typically selected for the correction of reticular superficial wrinkles. Injections are performed by making multiple punctures along the wrinkle line, using a small amount of filler to be injected into specific points. Injections are made almost without intervals with control over the uniform distribution of the gel along the wrinkle. Used to correct particularly delicate areas: on the neck, around the mouth and eyes.

Fan

The puncture is performed along the entire length of the needle, then linear injections are made from one point, without removing the needle from the skin and redirecting it along diverging rays at an angle of 20 degrees according to the “fan” pattern. The gel is injected slowly and continuously with the needle moving backwards. The main purpose of this technique is to tighten the corners of the mouth, correct nasolabial wrinkles, reconstruct the contours of the face and cheekbones.

Mesh (Lattice)

A series of retrograde injections are made along parallel and perpendicular lines, forming a “lattice” pattern. Typically, the lattice technique is used for volumetric correction of the cheekbones, strengthening the cheek line, corners of the lips, and straightening the nasolabial folds.

When correcting several zones at the same time, injection treatment starts from the top, going down. The entire procedure (including pain relief) takes 45–60 minutes.

What are the reviews about the drug?

Doctors love this drug very much for its versatility. It is suitable for any age, it can help get rid of wrinkles or improve the general condition of young skin. Moreover, procedures with Plureal are among the easiest to carry out, which means the risk of error is minimal.

Clients note that the drug copes with the correction of facial features “with a bang,” but does not always fight particularly deep wrinkles successfully. Among the disadvantages of use, the fragility of the result is noted: on average, the effect lasts from 4 to 8 months.

Pluryal - basic version

The popular Austrian filler Pluryal also demonstrates effectiveness in cases where procedures are required to help fight wrinkles. The pronounced effect of using the product allows you to guarantee the achievement of the desired result. Like the Pluryal Volume filler, it contains hyaluronic acid, which allows for effective tissue rejuvenation. But injection plastic surgery allows you to get a not too long-lasting effect. Pluryal Volume filler, the price of 1 ml for which is set by the manufacturer at a fairly affordable level, can compete with many popular and sought-after products. But his fame in Russia is not too high yet.
