Facial brushing: what is it?
Many people are not accustomed to hearing the term “Brushing” applied to skin care, since most people associate the word with hair.
Indeed, in hairdressing, brushing is used to add volume to hair, but if you understand the topic in more detail, you will find out that the word “brushing” translated from English means “brush.” So it is not surprising that cosmetologists adopted this procedure and began to successfully use it to care for the skin of the face and body. Brushing is a type of deep, safe mechanical cleansing of the skin (face and body) using a special brush or sponge of varying hardness, which delicately removes dead skin cells, blackheads, sebum and other impurities from the surface of the epidermis.
The procedure is quite simple and does not require any special skills - you only need a special device. Facial brushing also has another name – brossage.
Expected effect
By performing a massage using special brushes, you can perform effective peeling. As you know, with age, keratinized scales on the skin are removed much worse than at a young age. Over time, they layer, preventing the removal of subcutaneous fat and the penetration of oxygen into the epidermis.
If you do not cleanse correctly, you risk worsening the skin situation - wrinkles, roughness, sagging and severe peeling may appear.
In addition to cleansing, it provides:
- stimulation of the lymphatic system and correct distribution of lymph along the channels;
- improvement of microcirculation of the skin, which ensures the removal of metabolic products through the sebaceous glands;
- immunomodulation, so your dermis will be protected from the negative effects of the external environment;
- reduction of subcutaneous fat due to the active influence of the massager;
- saturation of the skin with oxygen and beneficial substances of cosmetics, which are usually applied after the procedure;
- elimination of sagging, loose skin and wrinkles in the areas affected by the instrument.
Massage with a special brush can be performed not only on the face, but also on those areas of the body where cellulite is present. Since blood circulation improves and the dermis is saturated with oxygen, the process of self-burning fat starts. When massaging your face, it is recommended to actively brush the area of your double chin, of course, if it is very pronounced.
Basically, such a facial massage is indicated for women who are already over 30. But if you have previously noticed age-related changes on your face: sagging, swelling, severe peeling and the formation of wrinkles, then the procedure will definitely not hurt.
Important point! It has been proven that body cleansing by brushing helps improve digestion and normalize kidney function. As pores are cleaned and toxins are eliminated, the burden on the kidneys is reduced and metabolism improves.
Types of facial brushing
There are two main types of facial brushing:
Hardware brushing is carried out using a special device, which can have several attachments, modes, rotation speeds and other interesting options. All this makes home care truly fun and effective.
Facial brushing is done manually using a regular brush. It doesn’t have any options; you have to independently determine the pressing force and intensity of cleaning, based on your own feelings.
IMPORTANT! The stiffness of the brush is selected based on the sensitivity of the skin, as well as the area of the skin (depending on the area, the epidermis has a different structure: in some places it is rougher, in others it is more delicate).
What problems does a face wash brush solve?

- Evens out skin tone and microrelief, improves complexion and texture of the epidermis;

How to use a face brush?
There is nothing complicated about facial cleansing by brushing. The main thing is to follow all the instructions and then your dreams of healthy, beautiful, well-groomed and glowing skin will come true in a short period of time!
First of all, you have to remove makeup, sebum, dust and other impurities from your facial skin . To do this, use “Cleansing universal” micellar water from the Beauty Style brand. It is suitable for absolutely any skin type, effectively and delicately cleanses the epidermis, without causing a feeling of dryness and flaking. Micellar water does not require rinsing with water or any other cleanser.
After cleansing, be sure to steam your facial skin . This can be done in the antediluvian way using a warm compress, which in any case will not give the desired effect. Therefore, we invite you to use the innovative facial steam sauna with nanoions Aqua Care 105 i from the manufacturer Gezatone. The device will help you steam, cleanse and prepare your skin for maximum use of an electric facial brush. After using the sauna, lightly pat your skin dry with a paper towel.

IMPORTANT! If you have thin, dry and sensitive skin, it is not recommended to get carried away with using a facial sauna.
Apply a special cleanser to your skin, which will enhance the effect of the face wash brush. For this you can use gels, scrubs, emulsions, peelings. The main thing is to choose the right one for your skin type. An excellent product for brosage is the gentle micellar cleansing gel-mousse “Cleansing Universal” from the Beauty Style brand. The product is suitable for owners of any skin type and will give a feeling of cleanliness, freshness and comfort. Gel-mousse does not irritate the skin, does not violate the natural protective barrier, prevents the appearance of tightness and flaking, relieves inflammation and evens out tone.
After applying the product, use the electric facial brush directly, moving along the massage lines. It is recommended to start brushing with low intensity, gradually increasing the speed and changing attachments if necessary. If a deeper and more thorough cleansing is required, you can use the “Cleansing universal” light exfoliant with a micro-polishing effect from the manufacturer Beauty Style. The smallest granules do not damage the skin, even out tone and texture, effectively cleanse pores and literally polish the skin, making it smooth, radiant and silky. Natural vegetable oils included in the exfoliant moisturize, nourish, soothe, vitaminize and protect the epidermis.
Among the face wash brushes, our favorite is the AMG 196 PRO from the Gezatone brand. The product delicately cleanses the skin of dead cells, sebum, blackheads, sebaceous plugs, and cosmetic residue, restoring a healthy, rested, fresh and radiant appearance. The brush has three attachments: a brush for thin and sensitive skin, a brush for normal, combination and oily skin, and a roller attachment for massage. Depending on your skin type and purpose, change attachments and perform effective home cleansing.
It is recommended to complete facial cleansing by brushing by applying a moisturizing serum, emulsion, fluid or cream. After such thorough cleansing, the caring components will work two or even three times better. The following products will give good results: “Hyaluronic acid 2%” serum, regenerating facial serum with centella and mucin, moisturizing facial serum with hyaluronic acid and “Aquaxil” complex from the Beauty Style brand. Each product will restore the skin, saturate it with life-giving moisture, smooth out wrinkles and soothe irritations.
Do not forget to disinfect the nozzle itself after the procedure. You can use regular soap, but it is better to rinse in antiseptic solutions: Miramistin or Chlorhexidine. This will help prevent bacteria from growing.
