The operation and photos after it

Next, we will consider the types of blepharoplasty and a photo that shows the result after the procedure.

How is upper eyelid surgery done?

Upper blepharoplasty eliminates the defect of overhanging skin over the eyeball. For simple manipulations, when only excess skin is cut off, local anesthesia is used . For complex rejuvenating surgery, with eyebrow lifting and correction of movable and fixed eyelids, general anesthesia is indicated.

Before the operation, with a special marker, markings are applied along which the incisions will be made. Marker lines are applied in the shape of an ellipse in the area of the movable crease of the eyelid, with the eyes open. The wide part of the ellipse is located in the center of the eye.

The marking lines follow the contour of the eye section and evenly taper towards its corners.

Operation algorithm:

  1. Anesthesia is performed, depending on the complexity of the operation.
  2. The intended strip of skin is excised.
  3. A strip of the orbicularis oculi muscle and excess fatty tissue are removed.
  4. An intradermal suture and aseptic dressing are applied.

If the condition is satisfactory, the patient is discharged from the clinic after four hours.

How is lower eyelid surgery done?

Plastic surgery on the lower eyelid relieves the patient of swelling, hernias and bags under the eyes, sagging skin, wrinkles and sagging eyelids. The operation is performed under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon first applies markings to problem areas. The marking begins under the lacrimal opening and extends 10 mm beyond the outer corner of the eye.

The distance from the eyelash growth line is maintained to 2 mm. The surgeon makes sure that the lines drawn are symmetrical and begins the operation. The operation takes place in several stages :

  1. The patient is given anesthesia. An injection is given under local anesthesia, or general anesthesia is administered.
  2. An incision is made according to the markings, and the skin is separated from the muscle fibers.
  3. The muscle fibers are separated, allowing access to the central fat pocket.
  4. Fatty tissue will be removed from the outer and inner pockets. Recently, it has been practiced not to remove adipose tissue, but to redistribute it in the periorbital zone.
  5. Excess tissue is assessed and removed according to the markings.
  6. If there is pronounced sagging of the skin of the outer edge of the lower eyelid, it is lifted and fixed to the periosteum.
  7. Microsurgical sutures and a sterile dressing are applied.

Main contraindications

Despite the fact that this method of rejuvenation is considered safe, it has a number of contraindications. When performing a massage, there is an impact on processes that occur deep under the skin, which can cause complications or a negative reaction from the body. The main contraindications to the procedure are:

  • The presence of dermatitis, pustular lesions, skin damage, rash;
  • Pathologies of the blood and lymph system;
  • Herpes;
  • Neoplasms;
  • Fragile vessels of the circulatory system;
  • Cleansing the skin with scrubs the day before;
  • Presence of papillomas or moles;
  • Heat;
  • Low level of cranial pressure.

In addition, it is not recommended to carry out this type of procedure for women during pregnancy or in the presence of pathologies associated with insufficient heart function.

Compliance with all recommendations will prevent you from encountering negative consequences, so you should not neglect contraindications. In addition, it is recommended to discuss the need for the procedure with a dermatologist, since some skin problems do not depend on age or external factors, but indicate the development of ailments, when eliminated, skin rashes and similar abnormalities go away without the help of a massage therapist.

Varieties

Plastic facial massage is divided into several types. Each of them is used in a specific area, so it is possible to choose a procedure that will give the desired effect.

Chiroplasty

Chiroplastic facial massage is suitable not only for restoring the youth of the face, it is used to restore the collar area or décolleté. You can use this method if you need to tighten your breasts. The movements during this massage are quite soft, the procedure will not cause any damage or discomfort. But in order for the result to be noticeable, at least 10 sessions are required. The amount required to obtain a positive result depends on the condition of the person's skin. For deep wrinkles, up to 20 sessions may be required.

Myoplasty

Myoplastic facial massage is almost no different from chiroplasty, but in some cases the specialist can add his own technique. Thanks to this method, it is possible to get rid of skin problems such as wrinkles, acne, and loss of elasticity. During the session, toxic substances are removed from the skin and elasticity returns. Visible results require an average of 15 sessions.

Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplastic massage is associated with lymphatic drainage, which has a positive effect on a woman’s skin. The specialist presses on certain areas in the eye area, which helps relieve the client of bruises, swelling and wrinkles. This method is slightly different from the previous ones. During this procedure, a special cream is used, which is selected individually for each woman.

Dermoplastic facial massage allows you to restore the elasticity of the chest, face and neck skin, and the technique consists of a series of kneading. It is recommended to trust only a specialist to carry out dermoplastic massage.

The right method allows you to achieve incredible results without resorting to surgery. You should take the choice of an appropriate technique seriously.

Complications of blepharoplasty

  • swelling - after plastic surgery, it increases to the maximum on the second day, and should completely go away in ten to twelve days;
  • hematomas and hemorrhages – small hemorrhages always occur after surgery. The threat is posed by large hematomas that require repeated surgery;
  • discomfort in the eyelids - associated with swelling, dry eyes and skin tension after suturing;
  • dry eyes – occurs after the procedure due to incomplete closure of the eyelids and changes in their shape;
  • photophobia and lacrimation are also common in the postoperative period;
  • Eversion of the lower eyelid - most often occurs with excessive tissue excision or severe scarring. Manifests itself in the incomplete connection of the lower eyelid to the eyeball, incomplete; closing the palpebral fissure;
  • diplopia – double vision.

To prevent complications after blepharoplasty surgery, strict adherence to the doctor’s recommendations and special rehabilitation measures are required.

Technique

Plastic massage can be done not only in a salon, but also at home. It is important to consider that if you move incorrectly, the effect of the procedure will be the opposite. The skin may stretch and wrinkles will become deeper. Therefore, you should only contact trusted professionals.

The massage itself consists of alternating kneading, vibration, tapping, fixing, stroking. The massage therapist carries out all manipulations strictly point by point, along certain massage lines.

Many believe that this method of rejuvenation is no different from the usual techniques of massage movements. But there are certain differences, one of them is the kneading technique. Kneading is divided into superficial or deep, which allows you to find an approach to each area.

First of all, the massage begins and ends with stroking the skin, this allows it to prepare for future manipulations; every movement is necessarily recorded. After the procedure, you will need to use a lotion and a mask with a lifting effect.

In addition, it should be noted that massage of the face and neck area differs from each other. When massaging the neck, movements are made from the area under the jaw to the tip of the earlobe. The next stage is to carry out manipulations from the chest to the neck. Then the movements are directed from the chin to the area under the collarbone.

The face has more active points and lines, so there are more stages. Massage begins from the chin, gradually rising higher. In this way, the skin is tightened and wrinkles are smoothed out.

What else are they talking about in the videos of eyelid surgery?

On our clinic’s website, in some videos about eyelid blepharoplasty, a plastic surgery specialist, doctor Osin, answers patients’ questions and talks about various modifications of the operation. On the clinic’s website you can find a video of eyelid blepharoplasty, where Dr. Osin himself is the patient. In the video, he shares his impressions of the operation.

The video of eyelid surgery demonstrates the special technique for performing the operation, including the use of a laser to make the incision. After marking and preparing for surgery, the surgeon uses a scalpel or laser to make an incision exactly along the marked line on the upper and lower eyelids and excise excess skin and fatty tissue. After this, a special cosmetic suture is applied to the wound, the scar after which is practically invisible after rehabilitation.

Features of the procedure

There are several features of this rejuvenation method that should be taken into account when choosing a massage. Knowing the features allows you to prepare for the session in advance. First of all, it should be borne in mind that massage at home cannot guarantee a positive result. To carry out the procedure, it is recommended to contact specialists.

It is important to remember that it takes time for the skin to recover. Usually a day is enough, after which you can go for a second session.

Oily skin requires the use of talcum powder. If a woman has dry skin, the specialist will use a moisturizer. This allows for effective movements without damaging the surface of the face.

It is recommended to thoroughly cleanse your face before the procedure of cosmetics and sebum. When carrying out manipulations at home, you should trim your nails and wash your hands with soap to avoid infection through the pores.

Important! After exposure, the face may become very red and sometimes swollen; this can be called a harmless side effect. If the procedure is carried out correctly, the unpleasant effect disappears after a couple of hours.

The procedure usually takes no more than half an hour.

Result

The correct implementation of this method allows many women to maintain their youth longer. Plastic facial massage does not take much time, but it gives an amazing effect. This is a kind of facelift that does not require the use of a scalpel.

Improper implementation will have a negative effect, but if the tightening course was carried out in compliance with all the rules, then after a few procedures the woman will see that the oval of the face has tightened, the skin has become smoother, more elastic, rashes disappear, wrinkles are smoothed out.
