Home cosmetology has long and successfully competed with expensive salon procedures. Among the favorite face masks there are dozens of recipes for products based on kefir. They are developed for different types, problems and characteristics of the epidermis.

With oatmeal

Crushed oatmeal is added to cosmetic products to cleanse and improve skin elasticity. With their frequent use, metabolic processes return to normal, pigmentation lightens, and inflammation heals. Cleansing, rejuvenating and moisturizing masks are made based on fermented milk drink and oatmeal.

To cleanse, add 1 tsp to 30 ml of base. honey and 20 gr. chopped dry oatmeal. The ingredients are mixed, allowed to brew a little and applied to prepared facial skin, excluding the area around the eyes.

Leave for up to 10 minutes, rinse with cool water. If necessary, you can apply moisturizer after washing.

You can tighten your facial contour and improve skin regeneration if you add the following to 50 ml of foundation:

  • 1 tbsp. honey.
  • 2 tbsp. oatmeal.
  • 3 pcs. mashed strawberries.

The flakes are ground in a blender or coffee grinder and combined with berry puree. Mix all ingredients and apply to face for 15-20 minutes. You can also use oatmeal by mixing it with 2 pinches of baking soda, a small amount of fresh lemon juice and half a glass of kefir.

The consistency of the mass should resemble low-fat sour cream, which is convenient to apply with cotton pads. Leave for 30-35 minutes. It is permissible to carry out procedures every other day.

  • egg white;
  • 1 tbsp each starch and kefir.

Beat the egg white until foam forms, add starch mixed with kefir. Leave for up to 20 minutes. The effect of use will be noticeable after 1 procedure: the skin will gain a healthy tone and elasticity.

With clay

Clay can be used as a separate, independent product, or as an auxiliary element. Its effect on skin condition is very effective.

For enlarged pores and dermis prone to oiliness, use white clay. 1 tbsp. The product is mixed with the base to a uniform consistency, thick enough so that it does not spread over the face, and moderately liquid so that when it dries it does not tighten the skin too much. Add 20 ml of fresh orange juice to the mass and mix.

For problem skin, a mask with yeast is suitable. To prepare it, you need to add 1 tsp to 3 dessert spoons of base. dry baker's yeast and hydrogen peroxide.

The ingredients are mixed until the consistency of rich sour cream. Leave for a quarter of an hour, wash with warm water. Repeat 2-3 times a month so as not to provoke excessive dryness.

With aspirin

A mask with aspirin has a beneficial effect on problematic and oily skin. This remedy helps get rid of ulcers, pimples, redness and inflammation.

Add 1 tsp to 30-40 ml of base. mineral water and 2 crushed aspirin tablets. After 20 minutes, wash off the mixture. Repeat no more than once a week. After 4 procedures, take a break.

Aspirin is not used during lactation, pregnancy, or for fresh mechanical damage to the surface of the skin.

With honey

To make a nourishing cleanser for oily skin, mix 2 tbsp. low-fat fermented milk drink with 1 tsp. linden honey. The exposure time of the finished mixture is 15-20 minutes.

Since honey is an allergen, before using it you need to apply a small amount of the prepared mixture to your wrist and wait several hours. The mixture can be applied to the face if allergic reactions have not appeared over time - itching, burning, redness.

A remedy containing 2 tbsp will help remove the first signs of wilting. base, 1 tbsp. cottage cheese and 1 tsp. honey. It is recommended to leave it for ¼ hour.

With yolk and olive oil

A paste is prepared from strawberries, raspberries and currants. Add flaxseed oil and soft cottage cheese to 2 tablespoons of berry mass. Pour in kefir to make a creamy mass.

With banana

Cut off a quarter of the ripe banana pulp and grind it into a paste. Add 2 large spoons of the drink.

Pour a teaspoon of gelatin powder into a bowl. Pour 50 ml of cold water and leave for half an hour to swell. Place in a steam bath and heat until the mixture reaches a uniform consistency. Kefir is added to the cooled mass to create a creamy composition.

Cinnamon

For 3 tablespoons of fermented milk drink, take half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder. For better cleansing and vitaminization, you can add a teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon of oatmeal. The composition is kept on the face for no longer than 10 minutes.

With soda

In one bowl combine a teaspoon of soda and two oatmeal, and in the other – 2 tablespoons of kefir and a dessert lemon juice. Mix the ingredients and stir thoroughly until smooth.

With rice flour

Combine 2 tablespoons of flour and half a teaspoon of soda. Pour in the milk drink to form a paste-like mass. The mask is applied to problem areas of the face.

This product is harmless and does not cause allergic reactions or irritation. It is used in masks for any skin type, without fear of harming it. At the same time, for different types of dermis, the percentage of fat content of the product should be selected correctly:

  • for the dry type, it is recommended to use kefir with a high percentage of fat content;
  • for normal – with average (1% will be enough);
  • for fatty and combination fat – low fat.

There are no other strict requirements regarding the use of kefir-based masks. The remaining rules are similar to any other facial care procedures:

  1. The skin must be prepared: cleansed, moisturized, treated with tonic.
  2. The finished mass is not rubbed in deeply, but like the Polysorb anti-acne mask, it is applied with light, smooth movements along the massage lines.
  3. The duration of exposure to the product should not exceed the period specified in the prescription.
  4. To prepare mixtures, kefir is heated in a water bath to room temperature.
  5. It is better to wash off the product with milk; also, to enhance the effect of the mask, you can alternate between cool and moderately hot water.
  6. In addition to the facial skin, masks with kefir are used for the décolleté and neck area.
  7. If the composition contains lemon juice or honey, the number of procedures is reduced to 1-2 per week.
