What is neodymium laser
This is a type of solid-state emitter, the main component of which is yttrium aluminum garnet. It is activated by Nd:YAG neodymium ions. The wavelength of this laser is significant (1.06 µm - 1064 nm). This power is enough to penetrate 6-8 mm into biological tissue.
The same laser is also used in surgery, especially in urology and gynecology, and in the treatment of tumors of various etymologies. The application is successful because the laser reduces bleeding and produces coagulation of blood vessels.
