Mesotherapy helps eliminate various cosmetic defects: cellulite, pigmentation, stretch marks, wrinkles, scars, hair loss, the effects of acne, excessive oiliness or sagging skin. This procedure involves a series of microinjections with special drugs. Using mesotherapy gun
, the therapist reduces the duration of the session and increases the comfort of treatment.

What are these compounds?
Special complex preparations (cocktails) can be prepared individually by a doctor or ready-made cocktails can be used.
Injections are made into the layer of skin called the “dermis” to a depth of 1-4 mm after anesthesia.
The mechanism of action of mesotherapy cocktails is based on the pharmacological action of the drug that is injected into the skin, the skin's response to damage and the neurohumoral response of the body as a whole.
According to their pharmacological properties, mesococktails are classified as::
- vitamins;
- mineral;
- with amino acids and so on.
All of them are aimed at rejuvenating and restoring the natural health of the skin without surgery.
Vitamin
Vitamin meso-cocktails can contain about 20 components or more . Includes:
- amino acids;
- peptides and vitamins;
- plant extracts.
Vitamins A, C, E, B are popular. Such compositions solve the problems of tired skin, smoker’s skin, and rehabilitation after aggressive exposure to the sun. Vitamin cocktails can be used to prolong the effect of other injection techniques.
- Vitamin A is used to treat seborrhea, acne and anti-aging therapy, fight scars, post-acne and pigmentation. Used in cocktails 1-2 times a week.
- Vitamin C improves complexion.
- Vitamin E is prescribed for a rejuvenating effect.
- B vitamins can speed up skin restoration and healing.
- Biotin is one of the main structural vitamins. Biotin helps restore skin with scars and acts as an active seborrhea regulator for seborrhea and acne.
Synthesized drugs
The most famous synthesized drug in cosmetology is hyaluronic acid . The main function of hyaluronic acid is to hydrate and plump up dehydrated skin. This achieves a rejuvenation effect, smoothing and prevention of wrinkles.
Glycolic acid acts as a component of anti-aging therapy and the fight against acne.
With minerals
Minerals in mesotherapy are chemical salts of micro- and macroelements such as zinc, silicon, phosphorus, selenium, sulfur and other minerals. Their selective influence and effect are widely used in solving a variety of skin problems.
Organic silicon is effective - the main component of cocktails . It stimulates fibroblasts, thereby increasing skin tone and elasticity. Helps absorb vitamins:
- zinc;
- chlorine;
- magnesium.
Therefore, silicon is included in both facial and body mesotherapy.
Beauty Cafe. Refreshing serum-concentrate for the face “Vitamin cocktail” for all skin types
The “Beauty Cafe” brand is not one of my favorites, but for some reason their products attract me. I really like the design, presentation, smells and textures. In the summer I went into the store and was captivated by the neat, bright jars from the facial care series. The brand has several of them - “Lotus” in blue packages - for dry skin, cheerful orange jars - “Vitamin Cocktail” - for all skin types, a purple series with fruit acids for oily skin, and finally blue packages - a series for the eyes.
I took several products, today I’ll tell you about the ones that suited me best and which I liked the most.
The product's name:
Refreshing serum-concentrate for the face Vitamin cocktail for all skin types
Package
Everything is done very high quality and tastefully, the appearance makes you want to buy. A neat cardboard box with tamper evident.
The tube is made of tactilely pleasant semi-matte soft plastic. The volume of the product inside is visible through the light. The spout is sealed with foil. Volume - 30 ml, just right for me, very convenient to take with me somewhere.
Ingredients
(indicated only on the box, not duplicated on the tube):
Texture:
I’m somehow used to the fact that serum is something liquid, watery or oily. The texture is the same as an ordinary cream, very light, even half-gel, one might say. Watery, not at all greasy. When applied, it spreads easily, absorbs quickly, cools the skin a little, smells like grapefruit slices marmalade - very pleasant. By the end of use, however, the aroma weakened significantly, as if it had faded away.
It does not leave a film, an oily feeling, or shine behind. The feeling on the skin is pleasant - soft and velvety.
Impression:
I took the serum in the summer. My skin doesn’t really like any oily treatments in summer, even though it’s dry. I decided to try this serum as a light solo treatment for the summer and as a universal travel product.
In use, as I wrote above, I have no complaints at all. The cream is pleasant to use; it does not leave a filmy/greenhouse/greasy feeling, and for me this is not such a common case. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough care for me, even in the summer. Serum was not suitable for me at night as the only remedy; it did not provide enough nutrition and hydration. At night, under one of the available creams (which were on their own, from other brands), I also tried it, but I didn’t notice any difference with the “cream only” option.
But this product was just perfect for me as a base for makeup. It slightly moisturizes, softens the skin, eliminates peeling, if any, and has never conflicted with any foundation. It is not felt on the skin at all, no films or cakes. I can’t say that it smoothes out the relief much, but I don’t really need it. The face does not become oily and does not affect the longevity of makeup. Doesn't clog pores.
It can also be suitable as a day cream if the presence of SPF is not important to you.
Term of use
Irregularly for about six months, I used it until the end.
Price
approximately 200 rubles
Rating
As a stand-alone care product - 4, rather weak for dry skin. However, the word “serum” to me implies that the product should be used in combination with something else, so I may be biased here. The manufacturer itself does not say anything about this and recommends using this product as a regular cream. As a day cream and makeup base for dry/normal skin - 5. For this price, it’s generally a very pleasant product, although without special effects, it’s quite comfortable. I think I'll repeat it again as a base.

Skin care rules after the procedure
According to reviews, the most popular among women is facial mesotherapy, which uses vitamins. This procedure gives good results: facial skin glows with youth and health. Each cosmetologist, after performing mesoinjections, gives recommendations for care. According to them, a woman should not use decorative cosmetics for 6 hours after the procedure. Also, during the first 2-3 days it is not recommended:
- visit the sauna, swimming pool, solarium;
- engage in active sports;
- do not perform hair removal or massage in the injection area;
After the mesotherapy procedure, you should care for your skin as follows:
- apply products containing antioxidants, components to relieve inflammation and strengthen the vascular wall;
- Use mild cleansers and toners.
When can you start getting “beauty injections” for your face?
It is recommended to use injections of vitamin cocktails to improve the condition of facial skin no earlier than the girl reaches the age of 25. It’s even better to delay this process until age 35.
Why? Everything is elementary: up to the age of 25, the body actively produces its own, “native” collagen and elastin - elements that are responsible for the turgor of the skin. After 25, this process slows down a bit, but skin cells are still able to provide themselves with important substances.
But in people over 30, the lack of elastin and collagen is already beginning to become more pronounced. Their skin needs additional stimulation of the production of these elements, so vitamin cocktails in injections for the face or other parts of the body will be an excellent way to correct their appearance.
How to carry out the procedure correctly
Facial mesotherapy at home is not a procedure that can be done relying on intuition. To perform the correct movements with a mesoscooter and not make mistakes when applying a cocktail to your skin, watch the training videos and read the step-by-step instructions :
- Wash your face using tonic or foam. It is ideal if you rinse your face with a herbal decoction of chamomile.
- Disinfect the mesoscooter. To do this, dip the roller in alcohol for three minutes.
- Wipe the areas you are going to treat with icecaine or dicoine. This will make the procedure painless.
- Apply meso cocktail.
- Start massaging your face using a mesoscooter. Walk each line at least 10 times. Lines for the procedure will be given below in the text.
- Finish the massage by washing the mesoscooter in alcohol.
- Apply a mask : it can be a nourishing or moisturizing composition. Read more about masks here.
Carry out the home rejuvenation procedure once every 20 days . Do not overdo it: the skin must go through a full cycle of cell regeneration. Once you see the first results, you will become a fan of home rejuvenation.
Massage lines
Let's consider the main massage lines that need to be carried out with a mesoscooter:
- Frontal lobe: from the center to the right and left temple;
- Superciliary area: from the eyebrows to the hairline;
- Nasolabial zone: from the nostrils to the upper border of the ears to the left and right;
- Chin area: move to the left and right shoulder, grabbing the central part of the neckline.
When performing a massage, use all the lines described. You should not run the mesoscooter over them more than 15 times to avoid injury to the skin.
Preparation for the procedure
To prescribe mesotherapy, you will have to contact a cosmetologist. The doctor will conduct an examination and an introductory conversation. Based on the information, he will make a conclusion about the advisability of injection procedures. If the decision is affirmative, the cosmetologist will prescribe the drug, administration regimen, and recommend the number of sessions.
At the introductory appointment, the doctor will definitely talk about preparation for the procedure, the progress of the manipulation, rehabilitation, and possible complications. No complicated preparations for mesotherapy are required. It is enough to eliminate blood thinning medications, not drink alcohol, and stop smoking for 3-7 days. It is advisable to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Sessions are carried out when the patient is in good health.
Advantages and disadvantages
Fractional facial mesotherapy is almost painless. Thanks to the small diameter of the needles, the channels close instantly. This eliminates the risk of infection.
The procedure does not require highly qualified cosmetologist. Risks associated with the human factor are minimized.
Mesotherapy gives a pronounced rejuvenating effect from the first procedure. Wrinkles are smoothed out, the oval of the face is tightened, and the pores are narrowed. Scars and post-acne become less pronounced.
With thin and sensitive skin and a low pain threshold, the procedure may cause pain.
Popular manufacturers of mesoinjectors
The main manufacturers of guns for mesotherapy are countries such as America, Asia, France, and Germany.
The most popular brands used in cosmetology clinics and salons are:
- Pistor4 (shown in the photo below) is a French electronic device that has certain advantages such as: high speed, five technologies for drug administration, and control of the dosage of the substance.
- Vital Injektor (shown in the photo below) is manufactured in South Korea. Has high accuracy. Ideal for facial mesotherapy.
- Meso Basik (shown in the photo below) is an improved injector, which is a transitional option from mechanical to electronic. It is characterized by such qualities as: light weight, convenience and ease of use, the ability to use any syringes, precise adjustment of settings.
- Meso Gun (shown in the photo below) is a French manufacturer.
Main characteristics:
- control in dosages of the substance;
- control over the depth of insertion;
- control over the number of injections;
- papular and nappage techniques used;
- injection counter;
- electronic injection control;
- measured distribution of the medicinal composition.
It is used for mesotherapy of the face, body and scalp.

Types of meso cocktails
There are many means of therapy. They can have a natural, synthetic or mixed composition, be single-component or contain a whole complex of useful substances, and have a therapeutic, supportive or rejuvenating effect.
Buying cheap ascorbic acid in ampoules at the pharmacy and injecting it using mesotherapy technology seems like a simple idea. Cosmetologists usually do not use vitamin C in its pure form.
The effectiveness of such mesotherapy is low. Usually, a ready-made cocktail is selected for the patient according to indications or an individual mixture is made manually.
Attention! Among ready-made products, the Italian Vita line C, mainly consisting of a basic vitamin, is popular. Complex drugs include: French Filorga, Spanish Mesoderm, Korean Dermaheal, Russian drugs Skinasil.
How is the manipulation carried out?
“Beauty injections” for the face involve subcutaneous injection of individual groups of vitamins, or entire vitamin complexes. A purely individual approach is important here. Only an experienced cosmetologist will be able to assess the situation and understand which beneficial substances the patient’s skin needs most.
Sometimes injections are given with only 1 specific element, but often a special cocktail of 5 vitamins is prepared. This is done immediately before the cosmetic procedure.
Vitamin complexes for the face often include:
- ascorbic acid;
- vitamins A, B, K, E;
- extracts of medicinal plants;
- hyaluronic acid;
- various minerals.
There is no need to be afraid of injections - this is a low-traumatic and virtually painless procedure. But since the face is a very sensitive area, to prevent discomfort when piercing the skin with a needle, a cosmetologist can treat the targeted areas with a local anesthetic.
The manipulation takes about 20 minutes, but everything, of course, depends on what effect the patient wants to achieve and how much area of the epidermis the doctor has to treat. You can achieve the expected results in approximately 8-10 sessions, but, again, only a cosmetologist can say exactly how many times the mesotherapy procedure needs to be performed.
general characteristics
A gun or, as it is commonly called in cosmetology, a mesoinjector is a specially designed electronic device that is designed for a variety of techniques for introducing meso-cocktails for the body, face, scalp and hair.
With the help of such a device, it is much easier for a cosmetologist to administer the medicinal composition to large areas of the body. The gun allows you to better control the depth and volume of the injection.
With a mesoinjector you can use the following techniques:
- microdose;
- long injection;
- mesoperfusion;
- standard dose;
- nappage
