Hymenal atresia: be careful during puberty!

When is surgical defloration recommended?

Surgical defloration is done in the following cases:

  • Dense tissue of the hymen, which is very painful to tear naturally
  • The elasticity of the hymen, in which it does not break, but causes discomfort during sexual intercourse
  • Fusion of the hymen (occurs most often as a consequence of inflammation in the vaginal cavity)
  • The presence of “first night syndrome” to remove the psychological barrier before sexual intercourse

Indications for surgical defloration

Most often, a combination of anatomical and psychological factors leads to a gynecological surgeon. The hymen is too strong, so attempting the first sexual intercourse is accompanied by severe pain. In the future, the girl is afraid of pain and cannot relax. Tension increases the negative reaction to sexual intercourse, so sex life fails. In this case, only surgical defloration will help.

The operation is performed if there are a number of indications:

  • The desire of the patient herself.
    Some girls have a strong fear of the pain and bleeding that accompany natural defloration. These fears may be reinforced by the pain threshold. As a result, a woman avoids sexual intercourse, subconsciously fearing unpleasant sensations.
  • Absence of hole in hymen.
    Normally, the hymen has a small opening. It is necessary for the release of menstrual blood. If there is no hole, surgical defloration should be performed during adolescence to avoid blood accumulation in the pelvis. This anomaly of the hymen is detected at a gynecologist's appointment or when a girl does not get her period for a long time. The accumulation of menstrual blood in the pelvis is accompanied by severe pain and urinary incontinence.
  • Features of the structure of the hymen.
    During the first sexual intercourse, the hymen is not torn if there are features of its structure. The most difficult to tear is the mesh form of the hymen, which has many holes. Also, the strength of the hymen increases when it thickens, doubles, or loses elasticity.
  • Incomplete rupture of the barrier during the first sexual intercourse.
    This condition is usually not dangerous to a woman's health. However, sometimes after the first intimate contact bleeding begins and persists for more than 2-3 days. In this case, the hymen should be removed surgically.
  • Late onset of sexual activity.
    Losing virginity over the age of 25-30 is often complicated by the fact that the hymen loses its elasticity.

If difficulties arise with the natural breaking of the barrier, you should not endure pain, discomfort and embarrassment in front of your partner. Intimate plastic surgery will relieve the patient of the problem in just half an hour.

How is surgical defloration done?

Surgical defloration is performed using surgical instruments, excising excess hymen tissue. In our clinic, according to indications, high-tech surgical equipment can also be used: a radio knife or a surgical laser. In laser defloration surgery, the hymen is corrected using a laser beam. The laser beam cuts the tissue while simultaneously coagulating the blood vessels, which reduces bleeding. During laser surgery, there are no scars or cosmetic sutures left at the treatment sites. Laser surgery is the most gentle method of surgical defloration.

What causes hematocolpos

Normally, a girl’s hymen has one or more holes for vaginal discharge and menstrual blood to flow out, but sometimes it forms continuous and dense. This occurs with abnormal development of the genital organs or as a complication of childhood infections (measles, scarlet fever, diphtheria).

Blood also collects in the vagina during atresia (obstruction), in which case menstrual flow accumulates over the obstruction. This is a congenital defect that develops in utero in girls whose mothers had STDs or infectious diseases during pregnancy.

Hematocolpos in adult women occurs after difficult childbirth, unsuccessful gynecological operations and manipulations, infections complicated by colpitis (inflammation of the vaginal mucosa).

Benefits of laser defloration surgery

Operation using a laser, unlike surgery, is a completely non-contact method because tissue is removed with a beam of light

  • The laser simultaneously coagulates blood vessels, which reduces bleeding
  • The laser beam disinfects when exposed to tissue, which eliminates the possibility of infection during surgery
  • The laser can perform very precise manipulations and make even minimal tissue incisions
  • When the laser beam is applied to the tissue in a targeted manner, the likelihood of scarring is eliminated
  • The recovery period after laser defloration surgery is very short. Full recovery, including the ability to live an intimate life, occurs after 5 - 7 days after surgery
  • There are no side effects with laser hymenoplasty

Treatment

Artificial defloration is the only way to get rid of mucocolpos. During the operation, the necessary opening is created in the hymen, which allows the fluid to escape. The final removal of blood and vaginal accumulations is carried out using laparoscopy.

Surgical defloration is a simple procedure performed under local anesthesia. Doctors rarely resort to general anesthesia. The specialist performs the manipulations within 15 minutes. The technique of artificial defloration is simple - the surgeon cuts the hymenal septum in several places using a scalpel. Then the accumulated secretions are evacuated through the incision, which completely frees the oviduct cavity from blood masses. After about an hour, the patient leaves the clinic.

During the operation the girl does not experience pain. In the first days, pain and slight discomfort sometimes occur. In such cases, the doctor prescribes analgesics.

Surgical defloration: contraindications and the operation itself

Surgical defloration does not require special preparation. The main contraindications against surgery are the presence of diseases such as syphilis, hepatitis and HIV, as well as the presence of active inflammation in the vaginal area.

The operation is performed at the beginning or middle of the menstrual cycle, at least 7 days before the start of menstruation.

The operation itself takes about an hour of pure time, including preparation and anesthesia. The patient remains in the room for 2 hours after the operation to let the anesthesia wear off, after which he can leave the clinic on his own. The operation is performed on an outpatient basis and anonymously.

Treatment of hymen atresia

For hymen atresia, the correct treatment method is surgery. If hymen atresia is not found in a very advanced state and ultrasound diagnostics reveals blood filling only in the vagina, the hymen is opened and the vaginal contents are evacuated. This surgical intervention is performed under local anesthesia, after a preliminary test for sensitivity to the anesthetic. About five milliliters of an anesthetic (novocaine, lidocaine, or others) is injected into the base of the hymen. After the anesthetic begins to take effect, a cross-shaped incision is made in the center of the hymen. The size of the incision depends on the thickness of the hymen. Then drugs are administered intravenously to promote uterine contraction. Increasing the contractile properties of the uterus is important to simplify its cleansing of blood contents. Massage through the abdominal wall also helps to empty the uterus.

The postoperative period is often accompanied by vaginal adenosis, which does not disappear on its own. Vaginal adenosis is removed using laser vaporization or cryodestruction.

If it was not possible to diagnose this disease in time, both the uterus and fallopian tubes are filled with blood - it is definitely necessary to perform a transsection.

Artificial defloration

If your attitude towards your intimate place is more reverent and scrupulous than just the reproductive organ, then it is better to choose the “right” medical institution for the surgical defloration operation. If you want to lose your virginity, albeit surgically, in a psychologically comfortable environment with an individual approach to your problem, entrust this delicate matter to our professionals. Next, we’ll tell you about a few simple steps towards getting rid of this annoying problem.

Preparation

Make an appointment with an intimate surgeon by phone or online on the website. At the appointment, you discuss the situation, and after the examination, the doctor will offer the best solutions. Correctly, 2 offers are made to you:

  1. Standard option (surgical defloration category 1 or 2, or another - in the presence of structural anomalies) and
  2. Comprehensive option (cosmetic removal of the hymen, including tests and anesthesia).

In addition to cost, they differ primarily in that the second option involves performing artificial defloration using a special technique, which subsequently excludes the girl from having remnants, scraps of hymen, or other defects at the entrance to the vagina, i.e. visual signs of the manipulation performed. All other conditions are equivalent for both options for removing virginity. Minimal tests are also taken (see table below).

How is surgical defloration performed?

The operation is performed in a certain sequence. The girl undresses and lies down in the gynecological chair. The external genitalia and vaginal cavity are treated with antiseptic solutions, after which local anesthesia is given. Most specialists consider general anesthesia for surgical defloration to be inappropriate due to the large number of potential risks and adverse reactions, especially since a good local anesthetic completely eliminates any discomfort! We use modern imported drugs and the thinnest, short needles, the injection of which is almost imperceptible to the patient. After a few minutes, complete anesthesia occurs in this area and the gynecologist begins to perform defloration surgery according to a pre-agreed option (standard or cosmetic). There are no unnecessary people in the office, only the patient and the doctor. The procedure takes from 10-15 to 25-30 minutes.

When performing deflowering surgery, OUR specialist does not use piercing or cutting instruments. All hymen incisions are carried out exclusively using a non-contact radio wave method. Cost of the service - see Defloration price ₽₽₽.

After surgical defloration

  • Sex is possible after 5-15 days (depending on the nuances of the operation);
  • All obstacles to full vaginal intercourse are eliminated;
  • The problem of pain and fear of experiencing severe pain disappears;
  • There is no risk of bleeding if the hymen ruptures during first coitus;
  • Unpleasant sensations during sex caused by incomplete rupture or remnants of the hymen stop;
  • For girls who practice same-sex relationships, artificial defloration opens up new opportunities.
  • If pain persists when inserting a penis, then the reason may be the narrowness of the vaginal opening, and measures must be taken.

Prevention of hymenal atresia

The main method of preventing hymenal atresia is to ensure normal embryonic development of the fetus; it is important to exclude exposure to pathogenic factors; pregnant women should avoid hypothermia and visit a doctor on time. Prevention of the development of secondary atresia of the hymen is to prevent the appearance of vulvovaginitis and various inflammatory processes. An important element in the prevention of hymenal atresia will be routine gynecological examinations, because it is always easier to prevent pathology than to cure it later. Atresia of the hymen has a favorable prognosis, which mainly depends on timely contact with a specialist.

Reviews

Today you can read quite a lot of opinions about this procedure on the Internet, so finding reviews from those who have undergone surgical defloration is not so difficult. Here are some of them

  • Varvara, Ufa: “I myself wanted to undergo such an operation, which I do not regret. Now my boyfriend and I can safely make love without pain. This is no longer forbidden fruit for us!”
  • Svetlana, Moscow: “I just recently lost my virginity with a scalpel. It doesn't hurt at all. I think the “first time” with a guy would just hurt like hell.”
  • Anna, St. Petersburg: “I was more afraid of the operation, although I understood that I had no choice: I’m already 26 years old, I want to have children, but “she” doesn’t give in. She lay down on the table, closed her eyes, and felt only a painful injection of anesthetic. After about 5 minutes they told me that everything was over. Excellent result!"

Indications for the procedure

Medical indications:

  • In case of anomalies in the structure of the hymen: when it is dense, the hole in it is small or there is a septum in the hymen. All this leads to extremely painful sensations during an attempt at sexual intercourse, which makes it impossible and leads to psychological trauma;
  • When the hymen is so dense and there is no hole in it. This not only makes sexual intercourse impossible. The problem begins earlier, when menstruation should begin: blood cannot come out and accumulates in the uterine cavity. This is a condition that requires urgent surgical intervention.

At the request of the woman:

  • Fear of pain during first sexual intercourse;
  • Low pain threshold;
  • Age over 30 years, when the hymen becomes flabby and cannot tear when attempting sexual intercourse, which causes pain to the woman;
  • Discrepancy between the size of the partner’s genitals and the size of the vaginal opening;
  • Non-traditional sexual orientation.

There are no contraindications. In cases of blood diseases, bleeding disorders, diabetes mellitus, vascular diseases (vasculitis), adequate preoperative preparation must be carried out with possible hospitalization and a complete collection of the necessary tests.
