Then drugs are administered intravenously to promote uterine contraction. Increasing the contractile properties of the uterus is important to simplify its cleansing of blood contents. Massage through the abdominal wall also helps to empty the uterus.

The postoperative period is often accompanied by vaginal adenosis, which does not disappear on its own. Vaginal adenosis is removed using laser vaporization or cryodestruction.
