Correction of expression wrinkles Botox, Dysport, Xeomin

Botox and its effects

Botox (botulinum toxin) is a drug based on neurotoxin type A. It is obtained from anaerobic gram-positive botulinum bacteria. Botulinum toxin blocks nerve impulses in muscle tissue, causing some muscle groups to relax and others to tighten. During the period of active action of the neurotoxin, the muscle tissue remains in a static position.

Initially, Botox was used to relieve muscle spasms in patients with cerebral palsy, to treat seizures, spasms of the orbicularis oculi muscles.

Today Botox is actively used in professional cosmetology to eliminate wrinkles and correct facial contours. In addition, Botox injections are made into the armpits to block sweating and into the scalp in combination with a vitamin complex to restore hair structure.

Anti-wrinkle Botox injections do not affect the skin. Smoothing out facial wrinkles and tightening the facial contour under the influence of Botox occurs due to relaxation or tightening of the muscle tissue under the skin. Thus, certain facial muscles are blocked, facial expressions are reduced, and the skin looks smoother.

You can also find Dysport injections in the offers of cosmetology clinics. This drug, like Botox, is made from neurotoxin type A. Botox and Dysport are different brand names for the same drug.

Areas of botulinum toxin therapy

The microdoses of the active substance used are absolutely safe for human health, but allow you to get excellent results in many cases:

  • Many Moscow residents are helped not only to achieve a rejuvenation effect, but also to get rid of spastic headaches by injections of Dysport in the area between the eyebrows - wrinkles in this area appear with regular frowning;

  • Affordable botulinum therapy is actively used to correct nasolabial wrinkles and treat gummy smiles. The drug is injected directly into the muscle responsible for the formation of the fold. In such cases, injections are often supplemented with other procedures that help fill deep wrinkles;
  • Many women from a fairly young age are concerned about the question: how to get rid of facial wrinkles above the upper lip? If various folk and cosmetic remedies do not bring success, botulinum therapy at the MedBioSpectrum clinic will come to the rescue. Injection correction of purse-string wrinkles with Botox using mesotherapy techniques - intradermal administration of small doses of the drug - guarantees the desired effect;
  • botulinum toxin injections are often used as a procedure prior to the correction of wrinkles around the eyes with fillers - in this way it is possible to achieve the best and long-lasting result;
  • A consistently popular procedure is the treatment of hyperhidrosis in women with Dysport or Botox.

The best price in Moscow for Botox injections for the face is offered by the MedBioSpectrum clinic on Kashirskaya metro station. To register for the procedure, call tel. +7 (495) 231-26-13 right now!

How often to do Botox to smooth out wrinkles

The duration of action of Botox is purely individual, so the frequency of botulinum toxin injections is prescribed only by a cosmetologist. On average, the effect of Botox lasts for 16-20 weeks. The duration of the result is influenced by many factors: age, bad habits, facial activity, health status, etc.

The first results after the procedure are observed after 2-5 days, and the maximum effect of the administered Botox is achieved after 10-15 days. Repeated injections are prescribed when movement of 80-85% of the muscles is restored.

Doctors do not recommend Botox injections to eliminate wrinkles before the age of 30.

After the body completely removes Botox, the muscles return to their original state, and the wrinkles corrected by Botox return.

The effect of Botox and how many procedures are necessary

Although the cellular effects after the injection develop irreversibly and rapidly, the muscle relaxant effect of the drug appears after a few days. In particular with regard to:

• small muscles of the larynx, face, and hands – after 2–7 days; • large muscles of the trunk, limbs, and neck – after 7–14 days; • skin and exocrine glands – after 1–5 days.

Cases of an immediate effect, as well as an effect delayed for 4 weeks, have been recorded. Reinnervation processes due to the emergence of new lateral processes (the so-called nerve terminals) begin to develop 2 months after the injection, which ensures the restoration of muscle contractions within 4-6 months after the administration of botulinum toxin. There are cases when the effect of the injection lasts for a year. Thus, the length of the period between injections is determined by the individual characteristics of the patients.

Histological scientific studies have established that even after 35 repetitions of injections into the same muscle group, the occurrence of irreversible atrophies and denervations is not observed.

Where and how are Botox injections given?

Most often, Botox correction is applied to the forehead, bridge of the nose, areas around the eyes and lips. A cosmetologist determines the areas affected by Botox and the required dosage of the drug. The doctor opens the injection solution and draws it into a syringe in the presence of the patient. He then injects doses of botulinum toxin with an insulin needle into specific points on the face.

Cost of Botox injections

The cost of Botox injections varies depending on the region and the prestige of the cosmetology clinic.

The price for the procedure is calculated based on the number of action units (AU) that must be entered. 1 unit is approximately 0.01 milliliters of the drug. For each zone, the cosmetologist himself determines the required number of units.

On average, 1 unit of Botox costs 300-400 rubles.

For ease of calculation, the price list of any clinic indicates the cost of 1 unit of Botox. And only after direct consultation with a specialist can you find out the exact price for the entire procedure.

Average number of units of Botox for each zone:

  • Forehead area – 10-30 units;
  • Interbrow fold – 10-20 units;
  • The area around the eyes (correction of “crow’s feet”) – 5-15 units per eye;
  • Eyebrow shape correction – 2-5 units;
  • Nose area, bridge of the nose – 10-20 units;
  • The area around the lips – 6-10 units;
  • Neck area – 25-50 units.

What is botulinum toxin

Correction of facial wrinkles with botulinum toxin is successfully used in cosmetology and is characterized by miraculous properties. Botulinum toxin is a powerful poison of natural origin. This is a protein that reduces the transmission of impulses from nerve endings to muscles. This toxin began to be diluted and thoroughly purified. After this, it has beneficial properties. Due to its effectiveness, the procedure is actively used among patients of different ages. Two drugs are in demand - Botulinum toxin from an American manufacturer and Dysport from a French manufacturer.

Indications for the procedure:

  1. Wrinkles that appear as a result of active facial expressions.
  2. Horizontal folds in the forehead area.
  3. Vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows.
  4. Pronounced nasolabial lines.
  5. Crow's feet.

Reviews about Botox injections

Below are several reviews of the use of Botox for wrinkles:

Arina, 39 years old

Wrinkles are indeed smoothed out due to numbness of the facial muscles. I have been injecting it into the forehead and nasolabial folds for the last three years. For the first time I felt like a plastic doll, it was very unusual. The only negative is that bumps remain at the injection sites for some time.

Love, 50 years old

I first decided to get Botox injections a year ago. The doctor injected me with 38 units of Botox into my forehead and temple area. After the injections I had a headache for two days. The effect was not noticeable in the first days, and I was a little scared. I even regretted getting Botox. Only by the end of the second week did the skin noticeably smooth out. I really liked the effect! The skin seemed to glow. I highly recommend Botox injections for women over 40!

Anna, 45 years old

I did Botox once on the advice of a friend who has been on it for five years. Perhaps this is my individual reaction to Botox, but my eyelids became very swollen after the injections. I stayed at home for two weeks. After the swelling subsided, I saw the result. The wrinkles really smoothed out, but the face began to look lifeless. I don't plan to repeat the experiment.

Recommendations after injections

After the procedure, you should follow a few simple rules:

  • In the first few hours after the injections, do not tilt your head down.
  • It is forbidden to lie down for several hours.
  • On the first day after injections, you should try to use your facial muscles to speed up the onset of action of botulinum toxin, but you should not touch the injection sites.
  • Physical activity, visiting a bathhouse or sauna, or taking a hot bath are not recommended for 2 weeks.
  • You should not take antibiotics during the first week.
  • Drinking alcoholic beverages is strongly discouraged.

To prevent swelling of the face, you should sleep on high pillows and limit salty, sweet and spicy foods in your diet.

Reviews of Nano Botox for wrinkles

Below are several reviews of Nano Botox:

Varvara, 41 years old

I'm afraid of injections and that's why I ordered Nano Botox from the online store. The operator told me for half an hour about the magical properties of the emulsion, and I bought the drug. Everything came in beautiful packaging, but in reality it turned out to be a fake. I didn't notice any effect. Just a moisturizing lotion. It's a pity that I came across scammers.

Ekaterina, 39 years old

I used Nano Botox for a month. I ordered on the official website. I didn’t see any great results. Yes, the skin has become soft and tender, fine wrinkles have become less noticeable. I suspect that this spray has nothing to do with real Botox.

Nadezhda, 53 years old

After using Nano Botox for a month and a half, the “crow’s feet” noticeably decreased, and the oval of the face tightened a little. But Nano Botox does not get rid of nasolabial folds and deep wrinkles. In principle, the result was as expected for me. The price is reasonable, so I will order more.

Which is better Botox or hyaluronic acid for wrinkles?

The nature and mechanisms of action of hyaluronic acid and Botox differ significantly from each other:

  • Hyaluronic acid is produced by the body itself. With age, its amount decreases, and the process of skin withering occurs. Injections help replenish the deficiency of hyaluronic acid in skin cells.
  • Hyaluronic acid injections are made under the skin, not into muscle tissue. Smoothing of wrinkles occurs due to the retention of moisture in skin cells by hyaluronic acid molecules. The skin becomes firm and elastic.
  • The duration of the rejuvenating effect after injections of hyaluronic acid is much longer - from 10 to 12 months. However, as with Botox, once the level of hyaluronic acid in the skin cells decreases, wrinkles return and a repeat procedure is necessary to maintain the effect.
  • Injections of hyaluronic acid can be carried out locally (for example, only in the area of the nasolabial fold), or over the entire surface of the face and neck.
  • Hyaluronic acid is not injected under the skin in its pure form. More often, fillers (gels), meso-cocktails and other preparations are made on its basis.

The cost of hyaluronic acid filler injections varies from 12 to 25 thousand rubles, depending on the area of application.

Which is better – Botox or hyaluronic acid – is a purely individual decision. In any case, before either procedure, you must consult a specialist.

Brands of botulinum toxin drugs officially registered in Russia

Botox®

, produced in America and is a purified neurotoxin complex of botulinum toxin type A;

Dysport®

, produced by English;

Xeomin®

, developed by the German concern Merz;

Lantox®

, created by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China.

All of the following drugs differ from each other:

• technological production processes • ratios of doses and effects • methods for establishing parameters of biological activity • antigenic potentials • therapeutic dosages • degree of purification • safety profiles

As a result, each drug has its own unique clinical profile, and one drug cannot be replaced by another or combined. All of the listed differences between individual botulinum neurotoxin preparations are considered very significant by European and American regulatory authorities. Therefore, they require specific labeling to state that the stated dosage units of each drug cannot be converted to doses of another botulinum neurotoxin drug.

The drug BOTOX (BOTOX) is a local muscle relaxant that blocks neuromuscular impulse transmission, which is a purified neurotoxin complex of botulinum toxin type A, obtained from a strain of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum grown in vitro.

The drug XEOMIN is a local muscle relaxant of a new generation that contains a highly purified neurotoxin type A-hemagglutinin complex obtained from a strain of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is characterized by the presence of fewer antigenic and protein additives, greater resistance to temperature changes, and, consequently, greater stability. The lively facial expressions are preserved, unlike Botox, but the effect is less pronounced.

The drug DYSPORT (DYSPORT) is a local muscle relaxant, it is a purified neurotoxin complex of botulinum toxin type A. It has high diffusion compared to other drugs due to its lower molecular weight. Recommended for younger patients under 50 years of age and taking into account contraindications. It is most often used to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Lantox (Lantox) is a topical muscle relaxant, which is a sterile, lyophilized form of purified botulinum toxin type A, obtained from the culture medium of the bacteria Clostridium botulinum containing trypticase and yeast extracts. It does not cause allergies due to the gelatinous stabilizer and is low cost compared to other drugs. The effect lasts less than Botox and Dysport.

Other injections besides Botox

collagen injections are used in the fight against wrinkles . Fillers are made from collagen. A filler based on bovine collagen is considered optimal. On average, modern fillers cost from 10 thousand rubles per procedure.

In addition to anti-wrinkle collagen-based fillers, injections are also made from the patient’s own adipose tissue ( lipolifting ), injections with the patient’s blood plasma ( plasmolifting ), injections of complex drugs, and vitamin cocktails.

Non-injection methods against wrinkles

For various reasons, not all women are suitable for anti-wrinkle injections, including Botox. In this case, you can use non-injection methods against wrinkles.

For example, laser biorevitalization . This is a modern, improved method of rejuvenation. Hyaluronic acid is injected under the skin using a laser (laser phoresis).

The laser biorevitalization procedure is as follows:

  1. The specialist cleanses the skin using soft peeling.
  2. Applies the drug to the skin in the form of a gel containing hyaluronic acid.
  3. Using a laser device for biorevitalization, it acts on the skin for deep penetration of the drug.
  4. Removes gel residues after the procedure.

This procedure is quite simple and safe. In addition, it is much cheaper than anti-wrinkle injection therapy.

Main reasons

Many women are surprised why swelling often occurs under the eyes after Botox, even if the injections were given in the forehead or nasolabial folds. There is nothing surprising in this - in any case, part of the drug enters the blood and spreads throughout the body. And it is almost impossible to predict his individual reaction to the neurotoxin. There are several main reasons for severe, long-lasting swelling.

Ignoring contraindications

Not a single cosmetologist will take responsibility and ignore the client’s contraindications. But the problem is that most often their presence is determined based on an oral interview with the patient. And the reliability of the information he provides is difficult to verify.

Botox injections should not be given if you have the following health problems:

  • liver and kidney failure;
  • insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus;
  • oncology and autoimmune diseases;
  • severely reduced immunity;
  • the presence of active inflammatory processes;
  • skin diseases at puncture sites;
  • high myopia and other vision problems;
  • congenital muscle weakness;
  • age-related ptosis of the upper eyelids and eyebrows;
  • exacerbation of chronic diseases.

It is not recommended to give injections during menstruation, as well as on very hot days, if it is not possible to constantly be in an air-conditioned room.

Incorrect introduction

Botulinum toxin-based drugs are intended for intramuscular injection, as their goal is to immobilize them. But the work of a cosmetologist in the periorbital area has its own characteristics. In the lower eyelid area, injections are performed exclusively subcutaneously. Otherwise, bags under the eyes immediately form due to strong muscle relaxation.

Also, severe swelling occurs when the doctor does not take into account the diffusion of the drug. It penetrates into neighboring tissues, promoting their relaxation. Therefore, bags under the eyes often appear after Botox when correcting crow’s feet.

Overdose

If injections are performed by an experienced specialist, overdose is extremely rare. Understanding how strong a poison Botox is for the body, cosmetologists prefer to be careful and administer it in minimal doses. And then, after two weeks, you can make a correction if necessary - inject as much as necessary.

With a slight overdose, only a slight swelling occurs around the eyes, which usually goes away in just a few days. But if the permissible concentrations of the drug are greatly exceeded, the face may become like a puffy mask with disturbed facial expressions and slits instead of eyes. In this case, medical attention is required, as this condition can last up to several weeks.

Kidney problems

The main task of the kidneys is to cleanse the body. They remove waste products, as well as harmful substances and toxins, including Botox. It is, in essence, a poison, which the body tries to neutralize immediately after ingestion.

You can suspect problems with the kidneys just by bags and swelling under the eyes, which usually appear in the morning and disappear by the afternoon. But if the patient did not pay attention to them, did not inform the doctor and did a Botox injection, the swelling and bags increase significantly and do not go away constantly.

Due to the patient's fault

Another, most common reason why eyes may become swollen after Botox is failure to follow the doctor’s recommendations during the first days after the injections. This problem is faced by those patients who:

  • massaged the face, rubbed the eyelids when washing or removing decorative cosmetics;
  • visited a sauna or solarium, steamed in the bathroom;
  • washed your face with hot water or stayed in the shower for a long time;
  • smoked a lot or drank alcoholic beverages;
  • took tetracycline antibiotics or hormonal drugs;
  • were too active in sports;
  • They slept with their face in the pillow, keeping their heads down for a long time.

It is especially important to behave correctly in the first few hours after injections. Doctors recommend limiting facial expressions and under no circumstances taking a horizontal position.

How to remove a frown line without Botox

You can get rid of the eyebrow fold without Botox yourself at home using the following methods:

  • Gymnastics. With the help of special exercises, you can not only get rid of the eyebrow fold, but also tighten the contour of the eyebrows. For example, one of the exercises: open your eyes as wide as possible, while your eyebrows should remain motionless. You need to do the exercise at least 10 times a day.
  • Anti-wrinkle patch. Cleanse and massage the skin. Wet the patch and stick it on the eyebrow crease. Carefully smooth the area between the eyebrows under the patch. After 3 hours, wet it and carefully remove it. Use the patch 3 times a week. More details about using the anti-wrinkle patch can be found in the instructions for it.
  • Massage. Watch the massage technique against eyebrow folds in the video below:

Cost of Botox procedure

The cost of one procedure depends on the number of units and ranges from 2,800 to 14,000 rubles, the average price of one unit. from 100 to 350 rubles.

It should be remembered that with the help of botulinum toxin, only facial dynamic wrinkles that arise as a result of excessive muscle activity can be eliminated. In particular, the cheeks, perioral area and chin are not particularly suitable for botulinum toxin injection.

Facebook building: how to get rid of wrinkles without Botox and surgery

Moscow, February 2. The fact that fitness makes the body beautiful has long been no secret to anyone. However, when it comes to the face, women are in a hurry to get injections and seek the help of a plastic surgeon, although many problems can be solved with training. Yulia Alekseeva, a specialist in facial muscle gymnastics, is sure of this, with whom we talked about what face-building and face-wellness are, whether it is possible to get rid of wrinkles on the forehead and why it is important to be able to move your ears.

WHAT IS FACE BUILDING

How did you become a facial gymnastics instructor and what is face building anyway?

– I think it all came from fitness. I am a gymnast myself, I have been involved in sports since the age of six, my family is athletic and I am surrounded by athletes. Therefore, for me, sport is life, and muscle activity is youth. Facebuilding is a specific set of exercises for training the facial muscles; the word itself is patented, so calling all techniques facebuilding is incorrect. There is also facelifting, facial yoga and many other areas. I train facial muscles, train instructors and clients. My face is my field of activity, where I train and try new things.

Do many people in Russia know about the existence of such gymnastics?

– In our country, many people do this, but very often they make mistakes due to the fault of unprofessional instructors who watched the video, read several books and started teaching. The biggest mistake is when you train a muscle that is in spasm. It should be stretched and relaxed, because all our wrinkles and problems with the face come precisely from the fact that some muscle is pinched. If you approach training the facial muscles without basic knowledge, then it’s good if there is no result, but you can ruin your face. I am glad that the number of intelligent instructors who approach training with knowledge of the matter is growing.

If you see somewhere that during face-building classes people look in a small mirror or the mirror is tilted on the table, you can immediately dismiss this. Firstly, there must be the correct posture - you sit with a perfectly straight back, and in no case cross your legs. There should be 90 degrees in all joints - between the body and the thigh, the thigh and the lower leg, the lower leg and the foot. Secondly, the mirror should be large and stand without tilting.

Can facial gymnastics replace plastic surgery?

- Yes, definitely. The main thing is to understand what we want to get as a result. There are clients who, at 50, want to look 25. This is not a facial problem, this is a mental problem, when a woman is not ready to accept her age, her life experience. It’s difficult to talk about this with clients under 30, because problems of self-perception, as a rule, have not yet affected them, and 35-year-old ladies who want the perfect face like they did when they were 20 often come. At 30, it seems that life ends at 50, but then there are 50-year-olds who also want to be beautiful.

You need to initially prepare yourself for the fact that the aging process is normal, it’s physiological, it’s the norm of life. The sooner we accept this, the easier it will be to look at any changes later. It’s another matter if these changes are caused by some negative character traits. For example, a frequent emotion of neglect leads to a strong crease in the nasolabial fold.

If there are a lot of tight muscles, hypertonic, associated with some old emotions, you may have to work not with the muscle, but with the emotions. This should already be dealt with by another specialist - a psychologist, psychotherapist. But this is only in the case of serious facial changes. As a rule, women come with whom, firstly, we just have to talk and understand where a certain gym comes from and how it can be corrected emotionally, and secondly, we are already starting to work with the muscle - if necessary, we warm it up, if necessary, relax.

Are there age criteria for at what age it makes sense to do facial gymnastics and at what age not?

There will be some benefit from Facebook building, and it doesn’t matter how old you are - 50 or 60. Especially if you haven’t had any surgeries, injections, or fillers before. People begin to exercise, and due to the rush of blood, progress is quickly visible. For some, from the first lesson: something relaxes, something, on the contrary, fills with blood. Any muscle that suddenly begins to move after a long lull is very noticeable. At any age, you need to play sports to feel your muscles, body, breathing rhythm, step rhythm - first of all, to get to know your body and understand it. Secondly, this is tone and health. We should get to know the face in the same way.

When clients come and sit in front of the mirror for almost an hour, some get a not very pleasant feeling from their own face - usually hardly anyone sits in front of a mirror for so long. You can apply makeup, but this means looking at a certain area of the face: eyes separately, eyebrows separately, lips separately. And we look at the face as a whole and look at the moment in facial expressions when I ask you to do some exercise: raise your eyebrow, pull your lip, tuck your chin. In this regard, gymnastics is also about getting to know your face.

What facial problems do women most often come with?

– There are ten such problems. When I give lectures or seminars, at the beginning I give each client a picture of a face and ask her to draw the wrinkles that bother her. As a result, it turns out that all cases fall under ten points, unless we are talking about a unique structure, such as dimples on the cheeks or facial asymmetry. If we are talking about the forehead, these are horizontal wrinkles, vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows. Then a nasolabial fold, drooping upper eyelid or swelling of the lower eyelid, dark circles under the eyes. Then there are vertical wrinkles on the lips, which is typical for older people, a crease between the lip and chin.

As a rule, the problem does not occur in one place - it begins to transform the entire face. For example, a crease between the lip and chin appears when a person holds a grudge for a long time. The muscle becomes like stone and from constant tension the chin begins to bend, then the corners of the lips drop down. If a person is not only offended, but also angry, his teeth clench, overstrain of the masticatory muscle appears, the chin rises up, and the nose drops down and becomes hooked.

Often the first wrinkles on the face are the folds between the eyebrows. Can they be removed if they appear?

– When I was 32 years old, I had two deep wrinkles, which were completely removed with the help of classes within a year. I will never do any injections, the only thing I did about eight years ago was peelings in the salon, and I really regretted it because they disturbed the pigmentation of the skin. Since then, I have been very careful about any advertised cosmetology products.

MOVE YOUR EARS AND NOSE!

Can you give some universal tips for maintaining a youthful face?

– First of all, I always advise removing spasm from the masticatory muscles that connect the upper and lower jaw. This very often happens when we hold back our emotions - we want to curse, we stop ourselves, and these muscles contract. To relax them, you need to open your mouth wide and push these muscles with your knuckles. To understand how to do this correctly, you need to visit a specialist.

There is a very good exercise to start the day - wiggle your ears. Everyone needs to learn this and do it every morning. There are two main directions in this movement - physiological and anatomical-aesthetic. When we move our ear back, the muscle around our eyes stretches through the temporal region. We practically get rid of wrinkles around the eyes, or they become less noticeable. Secondly, we control our forehead. We can compress and relax it as much as possible. And the physiological effect is that when we begin to move our ears, our brain is well activated. If, for example, you can’t wake up in winter, you don’t want to get up - move your ears and you will immediately feel cheerful. All my students who wanted to learn learned to move their ears - it's not that difficult. There are many lazy clients who say - I tried three times in a month, and it didn’t work out. Three times a month will not work exactly - you need at least several times a day. Once you feel how to do it, you will never forget it.

It turns out that with the help of gymnastics you can remove wrinkles from the forehead, around the eyes and lips. What about the nose - is it possible to correct its shape?

– The nose is a mental state. Psychotherapists have such a test - if you can wrinkle your nose, then everything is fine with your psyche. There are people who can't. If the nose is motionless, if these muscles are absolutely not felt, perhaps some psychological problems are already developing into psychosomatics. Therefore, the nose should always be active. The smallest muscles of the face are located precisely on this part of the face, and blood supply almost always goes through the working muscle.

If the muscles are already small and never work, our tendons gradually absorb the muscles, and the nose becomes deformed, for example, the tip becomes drier and droops. You've probably seen elderly people's noses like potatoes, but due to the fact that the blood does not reach the tissues, their disorderly division begins. This process cannot be stopped, and the nose grows. This is associated with several diseases, but, first of all, it is a circulatory disorder. Therefore, the nose needs to be trained, the nose needs to be moved.

By the way, the Chinese believe that the best, so-called “money” nose is wide and round at the end. And everyone who comes to me wants narrow, small, neat ones. So this narrow, small nose means that even if you make money, it will be in tough competition. Secondly, you will earn little. Therefore, when the nose is large, large, and the tip is round, you cannot refuse such a nose! I have dissuaded many from plastic surgery, because after it life and destiny always change.

Is it possible to make lips plumper without plastic surgery?

– If in your youth you had large, beautiful lips, but with age they became smaller, then you can restore their shape quite easily by relaxing the muscles. You need to properly relax and massage them correctly. If your lips are initially thin, it is impossible to make them plump. But you can make them a little larger. If a woman naturally has small breasts, you can pump up the muscles, and with correct posture the shape will visually look completely different. It’s the same with the lips – if we relax one muscle and train another, the lips will look different.

WHAT FORM ARE THE CLASSES?

– Classes can be group or individual. For example, eight sessions, during which each is devoted to one problem on the face. Today we are only talking about the nasolabial fold - how it is formed, what muscles are involved, what emotions, how we feel it all, how it tenses and stretches, and so on. There are groups in which we divide time according to a different principle - 40 minutes of intense tension of the facial muscles, and then 40-45 minutes of deep relaxation. This program is called facewellness, it is patented by my colleague Elena Alekseeva.

Some fitness clubs include these classes as part of your membership—just check to see if your club has such a program. The second option is to study individually with an instructor. You need to find a good specialist, not one who forces you to sit in front of a small mirror, but one who will sit you correctly in front of a large mirror and tell you a lot of theory. Awareness of every movement is very important. It is not so important to tense a muscle as to feel it - where it tenses and where it relaxes. Individual training is always the most expensive pleasure, but also the most effective. First, the specialist conducts diagnostics, looks at which muscles work and which ones don’t, then writes a program according to which you need to attend at least two or three classes, and then practice at home.

I advise you to try different trainers, take at least two or three classes with a specialist, and then repeat regularly at home. I don't recommend anyone to start on their own because there are a lot of mistakes. For example, about eight years ago there was a popular manual that said that you need to repeat the exercise until you get a lactic acid burning sensation in the muscle. Such jokes don't work with the face. Firstly, the facial muscles hurt from overload, and secondly, it is harmful. If you tense one muscle, you will have hypotonicity in some other muscle. You can seriously damage your face.

What to remember

  1. Be sure to consult with a specialist about possible contraindications and side effects of Botox.
  2. Do not administer Botox injections yourself. This procedure can only be performed by a specially trained cosmetologist who is authorized to perform the procedure.
  3. Check the quality certificate and expiration date of Botox. Do not hesitate to ask a cosmetologist to document his qualifications.
  4. Do not go to beauty salons and clinics with a dubious reputation in pursuit of savings on the cost of Botox units.
  5. If possible, choose non-injection rejuvenation methods. They are more accessible and safer than Botox injections.

Technique of the procedure

Before the session, the cosmetologist will examine the patient and conduct a consultation. At the appointment, the specialist will determine the drug that is needed for injection.

The product is administered to a specific area. The process lasts no more than 30 minutes. After the injections, redness and slight swelling remain, which disappears after a couple of hours. For the drug to work, it is recommended to actively work the muscles for several hours after the procedure.

The main effect can be observed 10 days after the manipulations. The duration of action is determined by the skin type and the nature of the problem.

In our center, correction is carried out by experienced doctors using safe and high-quality drugs.
