According to the authoritative opinion of scientists, almond milk is an excellent source of calcium (calcium absorption is much higher than from cow's milk), and almonds are also considered an excellent alternative to animal protein sources.
Almond milk does not contain lactose, so it does not cause allergies and goes well with any other plant-based products. Almond milk contains the leading dietary source of alpha tocopherol (vitamin E), the most powerful and absorbable form of the antioxidant vitamin.
The beneficial properties of almond milk are difficult to list, as they are endless and varied. When consuming almond milk, internal organs are cleansed, the brain is strengthened, vision is improved, hair and nails are restored, skin is renewed, the skeletal system is strengthened, and harmful cholesterol is removed from the blood.
When used externally, almond milk perfectly cleanses and moisturizes the skin. It is actively saturated with all useful vitamins, while wrinkles are smoothed out, various inflammations and acne go away. The skin becomes velvety and elastic after the first use.
How to make almond milk?
Almond milk is quite simple to make.
For 1 glass of milk you need to take about 15 almond kernels, rinse them thoroughly and soak in warm boiled water overnight. For this amount of almonds you will need approximately 0.5 cups of water. Overnight the nuts will swell and they will need to be peeled and the infusion itself will need to be strained. Now you need to place the nuts in a blender and pour the strained infusion over them and beat everything thoroughly at maximum power for 5 minutes. The resulting milk can be strained.
Almond milk is ready.
Some may find it bland, so you can add honey, cane sugar, and spices (cinnamon, cardamom) to suit your taste. It will be incredibly tasty!
You can use 1-3 glasses per day.
I prepare this milk in larger quantities because I use it not only internally, but also externally.

Ready-made almond milk can be used to make an excellent milk for the face and body. To do this, add any cosmetic oil (peach, almond, castor, essential oils) to the prepared almond milk in a ratio of 2: 1. Store the finished milk in the refrigerator for a week.
How to use almond milk?
This milk should be used morning and evening to cleanse the skin. It dissolves the lipids of the skin, removes sweat, horny scales of the outer layer of the epidermis, opens contaminated pores and, like a vacuum cleaner, draws out all the waste products of the skin. This almond milk will be especially effective after almond gommage, the recipe for which I gave here. I would be glad if, after reading this post, you include almond milk in your list of healthy recipes for beauty and health. Try it and be beautiful!
Making your own cream milk
First of all, I mixed all the oils in one cup and heated it and melted it so that not a lump of cocoa butter remained. Twin in the same composition, heated up with oil.
I brewed some chamomile in advance and strained the solution while it was still warm. Prepared everything for mixing.
I poured chamomile infusion into the oil mixture, while stirring the mixture with a spoon. And for some time she actively worked with a small spoon, shaking the mixture and at the same time cooling it. In just 3-5 minutes the mixture was already at a pleasant temperature.
At the last minute I changed my mind about adding bergamot - the volume of milk was too small, I was afraid that even one drop of “essential” would be too much, it would not do any good, and might even harm the eyes.

Softening milk that increases skin elasticity La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lotion - reviews
Hi all!
At the beginning of the year, I already told my story of struggling with skin itching and how the Lipikar series helps me with this. And so, over and over again, I continued to buy Lipikar Baume AP+ lipid-replenishing balm, but this time I decided to take a risk and take milk for dry and very dry skin instead. I will tell and show you how they differ from each other and how much one product can replace another with analysis and comparison of compositions.
In addition to the fact that I have dry skin itself, prone to itching, flaking and redness, the water in our region is very hard, which adds to the unpleasant sensations after water procedures. Therefore, I simply need to apply moisturizer to my entire body almost every day/every other day. I’ve been using AP+ balm for several years now, but this time I decided to try the milk and find out how they differ from each other.
On the left is milk, on the right is balm
The manufacturer claims that the milk restores the lipid barrier of the skin thanks to its cold cream-based formula. The product is made with LRP thermal water at a concentration of 60%, enriched with Shea butter (10%) and niacinamide (2%).
Both balm and milk are intended
- for dry and very dry skin,
- for sensitive, atopic
- for skin prone to allergies, irritation and itching,
- for babies and children.
I am especially interested in the issue of reducing possible itching; the AP+ balm has a special emphasis on itching, but the milk does not have such a separate emphasis.
The milk promises us hydration for up to 48 hours
(the balm has a stated action time of 24 hours)!
Mode of application
Both products are also identical: suitable for
daily
use.
The manufacturer suggests applying once a day to dry skin. face
and
body
care .
My auditing background forced me to conduct a mini composition
both means. The plate on the left shows the full composition of the milk, on the right - the balm, identical ingredients are filled in blue. The most beneficial for the skin is highlighted in green, and the potentially harmful/dangerous in red.
As usual, my attention is drawn to the top ten of the lineup
, and here we see that it is very similar!
8 ingredients from the top ten composition of the balm are present in the milk, and if there are 24 components in total in the milk, then 11 of them coincide with the balm. Moreover, all the pleasant elements are present in both – shea butter, niacinamide and canola oil – but in different concentrations. For example, in shea milk - 10%, and in balsam - 20%, in niacinamide milk - 2%, in balsam - 4%. Those. The concentration of the most beneficial substances in milk is 2 times less
.
Package
They are practically no different in appearance. There is a convenient pump dispenser with the ability to block it from accidental pressing.

Texture of milk:
It is lightweight, absorbs very quickly, is non-sticky and non-greasy (especially compared to AP+ balm). Perhaps this is the most important difference between the funds from each other. The balm is thicker, lays down in a dense layer, does not allow layering, the milk is light and watery, absorbs quickly, it is possible to apply several layers.
I'll show you in action. After summer walks in ballet shoes, I was left with a corresponding tan and increased dryness with slight flaking (you can see in the photo).
Visible dryness and flaking
Apply milk to the left leg and balm to the right leg.
One full press. On the left is milk, on the right is balm
Let's take a closer look at the texture. On the left, the milk is more liquid, watery, spreads and is easily distributed. On the right is the balm, it is thicker, you can see how it clearly holds its shape, it is denser when distributed, more “siliconeous”.
On the left is milk, on the right is balm
I distribute the product. In the photographed area, the product was applied in a fairly dense layer, so that you can even see streaks here and there; in fact, this amount is more than enough for the skin of the legs up to or above the knees (depending on the degree of dryness).
On the left is milk, on the right is balm
Now let's check for absorbency
. Literally 2-3 minutes passed from the moment of application. It is clearly visible that the milk was absorbed very well and quickly, the napkin stuck only in the place where there was the thickest visible layer of the product. Those. By the time you finish applying the milk to all parts of your body, you will be ready to get dressed. The balm is denser and leaves a sticky film on the skin much longer.
On the left is milk, on the right is balm.
2-3 minutes after application. Effect:
This is an excellent basic body milk, eliminates dryness, moisturizes and is very easy to use. I suppose it’s ideal after the pool, you don’t have to wait long for the product to be absorbed. Now I don’t have such acute problems with itching, because... I follow a number of rules and do not allow my skin to become excessively dry, so I consider switching to a lighter milk instead of balm justified and appropriate. About 48 hours of hydration is possible if you don’t wash or wash with very mild products (otherwise you just need to apply something soothing and moisturizing to your body).
Term of use:
more than 1 month
Price:
1,317 rubles for 400 ml (about 400 rubles cheaper than a balm in similar packaging)
My mark:
5- (minus) out of 5. Despite the lower concentrations of nutrients, the milk helps me and will definitely become my faithful assistant (especially during the period of remission of acute itching). I definitely recommend it to everyone! The downside is the presence of mineral oil in the composition, which can potentially clog pores (more likely to apply to the face, but I don’t use it on the face).
In the previous review, I rated the balm 4 out of 5 (I lowered the rating for the mineral oil in the composition and “pilling” if the previously applied layer is not thoroughly washed off)
I hope my comparison will help you make your choice!
Thank you for your attention,
Irina.

Milk prepared in the manner described above can also be eaten.
Almond milk can be used to remove makeup: apply the milk to the face, neck and décolleté using your fingertips or a cotton swab, leave for a while to act, then carefully remove the residue with a cotton pad or cosmetic napkin. Milk softens the skin, normalizing metabolic processes and fluid balance in skin cells, thereby restoring the firmness and elasticity of the skin. It is especially effective for dry and normal, as well as very sensitive skin. Almonds have many beneficial and medicinal properties for the body and are widely used in folk medicine due to their healing composition: almonds contain a large amount of unsaturated fats, they contain essential fatty acids, valuable vitamins (especially groups B and E) and minerals (in particular, potassium, phosphorus, copper and iron). Sweet almond oil is obtained from almond kernels by cold pressing, so it is free of synthetic impurities and environmentally friendly. Sweet almond oil is non-toxic, non-irritating and suitable for all skin types. Softens and nourishes the skin, absorbs well and cleanses pores. Wheat germ oil stimulates metabolic processes, improves skin condition, improves complexion, rejuvenates the skin, keeps the skin elastic and fresh, has an anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, cleansing effect.
Why is cleansing milk used incorrectly?
Because you are often misled by incorrect instructions on packaging and in online cosmetics stores.
Here are just a few examples from the instructions for the cleansing milk. I will tactfully withhold the brand names, but they are quite famous.
Directions for use: Moisten a cotton pad with the product and gently cleanse the skin of the face and eyes. Use morning and evening. Does not require rinsing.
Method of use: Apply milk to the skin of the face and eyelids, carefully remove makeup with a cotton pad. Repeat until the cotton pad remains clean.
Not a word about the fact that it would be good to wash your face with water .
After such cleansing, there is unlikely to be a feeling of freshness and cleanliness. You simply smear another cream over your face, mixing it with foundation or sunscreen. The skin will constantly remain uncleansed.
It is not surprising that many, having tried this method of cleansing once, categorically do not want to use milk.
