A modern view on rejuvenation of the periorbital zone using the drug TEOSYAL PureSense Redensity II

What are periobital wrinkles?

Wrinkles in the periorbital area are age-related or facial changes around the eyes. They can appear even in very young people. The fact is that the skin in this area is very thin and, moreover, has few sebaceous glands, which is why it is most susceptible to various negative influences (such as dry air, incorrectly selected cosmetics, etc.).

In addition, each of us cannot do without regular blinking, and if we also have the habit of squinting, early wrinkles around the eyes are unlikely to be avoided.

What cocktails are used in mesotherapy around the eyes?

To carry out such a procedure, various medicinal mixtures can be used. The composition depends on many factors, including the age of the patient, as well as the nature and severity of the problems that she wants to get rid of. As a rule, these are either mono-agents, that is, the only substances in their pure form that do not imply additional impurities, or meso-cocktails, which consist of a number of components.

These may be the following variations of drugs:

  • hyaluronic acid in its pure form - such injections effectively smooth out even the deepest wrinkles;
  • vitamin complexes and microelements;
  • cocktail formulations with peptides that have a moisturizing effect on problem areas of the skin and promote its noticeable rejuvenation;
  • Glycolic acid – designed to whiten and even out skin texture and tone.

Indications for the use of mesotherapy around the eyes

There are a number of indications and symptoms that will help you understand whether you can get by with only moisturizing masks and creams, or whether it is time to join mesotherapy procedures. Here are the main indications for mesotherapy, which are highlighted by professional cosmetologists:

  • presence of dark circles under the eyes;
  • crow's feet in the outer corners of the eyes;
  • swelling;
  • eyelid ptosis;
  • the presence of age-related wrinkles;
  • correction of under-eye bags as an alternative to blepharoplasty.

It is important to understand that not in every case mesotherapy can help eliminate problems in the eye area. There are a number of internal pathological reasons, the catalyst of which, in fact, is the area under the eyes.

Correction of the periorbital area

Correction of the periorbital area is a common, but not the easiest task for cosmetologists. It requires careful adherence to precautions: after all, the risk of skin trauma is higher here compared to other areas of the face. In addition, constant facial activity contributes to the rapid appearance of new signs of aging.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy ensures the filling of wrinkles due to the active production of collagen and elastin, which begins after injections. In this case, the mesococktail is administered no higher than the bony edge of the orbit, otherwise there is a high risk of causing edema.

The advantages of the procedure include

  • instant effect;
  • multifunctionality;
  • lack of rehabilitation period.

The drug Dermaheal (South Korea) provides an excellent effect for injection correction of the periorbital area. The procedure is carried out in a course and can be combined with other rejuvenating techniques: for example, with superficial peeling.

Filler

Fillers are effective even when folds in the skin are visible with a calm facial expression. Hyaluronic acid, which is most often used in this case, in addition to filling wrinkles, has another beneficial effect: it normalizes skin moisture and restores its elasticity.

Drugs are widely used at Novoklinik

  • Juvederm (USA),
  • Surgiderm (France),
  • Yvoire (South Korea),
  • Teosyal (Switzerland).

High-quality fillers allow you to achieve the desired result after the first procedure, however, they are gradually eliminated from the body, so after about a year the visit to the cosmetologist will need to be repeated.

Injections

Injections are still one of the most popular methods to combat wrinkles. You can remove crow's feet by injecting the drug into the outer corners of the eyelids. At the same time, if there is excess skin of the upper eyelids, this procedure must be carried out especially carefully so as not to cause ptosis.

Experienced Novoklinik specialists perform injections with the utmost care, so side effects as a result of this type of wrinkle correction are practically excluded.

The effect of botulinum toxin will become noticeable already 3-4 days after the procedure, and the maximum effect can be observed after two weeks. As a rule, the result lasts for about 6 months, after which the procedure (provided there are no contraindications) is recommended to be repeated.

Cosmetic procedures are contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Types of lifting in cosmetology and plastic surgery

Lifting the skin around the eyes is classified into several types.

Operational

If traditional minimally invasive methods do not give a positive result, in most cases the doctor performs blepharoplasty. This is a surgical method for tightening the skin.

Thanks to this effect, it is possible to eliminate the effect of an overhanging eyelid, smooth out wrinkles and get rid of puffiness. After blepharoplasty, a visible rejuvenating result is noted. However, despite its high efficiency, such manipulation is a serious cosmetic intervention, and therefore has many limitations.

The main contraindications include:

  • blood diseases , including bleeding disorders, decreased hemoglobin levels;
  • predisposition to the formation of keloids and scars;
  • oncological pathologies ;
  • chronic eye diseases
  • renal and liver failure , heart and vascular diseases.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. After the surgical intervention is completed, the patient remains under medical supervision for another three days. The recovery period is up to several months, which depends on the condition of the skin and the individual characteristics of the client’s body.

Blepharoplasty can be performed on the lower or upper eyelid. In the first case, an incision is made along the bottom of the eye with a distance of several millimeters from the eyelash line. In the second, the skin is cut along the upper eyelid.

Non-surgical

Eye lifting without surgery is suitable for preventing premature aging. Prescribed for problems such as:

  • sagging skin;
  • bruises under the eyes;
  • drooping eyelids and drooping eyebrows at an early stage;
  • the appearance of networks of small wrinkles.

The following types of this technique are distinguished.

Injectable

Often, contour plastic surgery is used to tighten the skin with minimal age-related changes. This is a procedure in which fillers are injected into problem areas; the main active ingredient is hyaluronic acid.

Botulinum toxin is no less popular. Thanks to its effects, there is a decrease in spasms of facial wrinkles and restoration of muscle balance.

Also, to lift the eye skin, specialists perform mesotherapy. The preparations are also based on hyaluronic acid. In addition, the composition contains amino acids, peptides, trace elements and vitamins.

Hardware

These are cosmetic procedures that are performed using various equipment. The skin is exposed to heat, as a result of which natural regeneration processes are launched at the cellular level, blood circulation improves, wrinkles and collagen fibers begin to shrink.

Laser tightening

The skin of the eyelids is exposed to a laser beam, after which microscopic damage remains, stimulating the production of elastin and collagen.

Laser peeling is performed in two ways. This is fractional or radio-optical thermolysis. The method is low-traumatic and safe.

Microcurrent therapy

Performed when exposed to low frequency pulsed current. It is also considered non-traumatic, but not as effective compared to other similar techniques.

Photorejuvenation

Based on the use of high intensity light fluxes.

RF lifting

This is a complex effect based on electromagnetic pulses. It helps restore the production of your own collagen fibers, making the skin more elastic and toned.

One session of RF lifting around the eyes can be compared in effectiveness to plastic surgery. But the main advantage of such manipulation is that the tightening effect is achieved through healing processes of the skin.

RF eye lifting allows you to cope with problems such as the formation of deep wrinkles, excess fat, and signs of age-related changes.

After such a cosmetic procedure, the skin is noticeably smoothed, crow's feet, wrinkles, and bags under the eyes disappear. In addition, the effect of an impending eyelid becomes invisible.

The first results can be seen after just one session. However, for maximum effect, it is recommended to complete the full course, including 3-5 procedures.

Among the main advantages of this technique are safety, high efficiency, and the elimination of a large number of disadvantages associated with age-related changes.

However, the RF lifting procedure has certain limitations, including:

  • presence of a pacemaker ;
  • dermatosis in the area requiring treatment;
  • neoplasms of benign and malignant nature;
  • chronic diseases in the stage of decompensation;
  • the period of bearing a child and breastfeeding.

This anti-aging method is truly one of the best for tightening the skin around the eyes.

Thread reinforcement

This method of rejuvenation involves the introduction of special threads with notches under the skin, with the help of which a frame is created that prevents the skin from sagging. For sensitive epidermis, it is recommended to use self-absorbable material.

Only a specialist can tell you which method to choose for eye lifting. In doing so, he must take into account the condition of the dermis, the severity of the problem and the age of the patient.

Now the prefix is a couple.

Again the Greeks - from the Greek para - next to, near, outside... located next to what is named in the second part of the word.
So this also happens?! Let's dig further. In the medical encyclopedia, a pair is a prefix meaning being near or outside, deviation, violation of something, erroneous identification with something, discrepancy between external manifestations and the essence of a given phenomenon... Do you notice the difference?! So, in medicine, this prefix indicates a particular feature. substances or phenomena, which fundamentally distinguishes these phenomena from those already well known in medicine and biology. In short, some kind of paranoramal attachment. But the area around our eyes is very normal.

Periorbital or paraorbital region?

The periorbital region among cosmetologists refers to the area around the eyes, and it’s easier to call it the periorbita. Therefore, the first thing is to ask a question to cosmetologists I know... It turned out to be a dead end. Everyone understands that the correct name for the area around the eyes is periorbital, but they couldn’t explain why with sense, with feeling, with arrangement. So where did the paraorbit come from? Is there such a concept at all and, if so, how does it differ from periorbit…. And it seems like we all learned anatomy...
